Rico does good work for the game, but the behavior is not good. Yes, I said, "The devs are kids in adult bodies" because at times they act like kids, they should be more Serious at times they have a Literal rule in their server they break and let others break daily also my point about the cc also seemed to go over your heads I am not saying we are the biggest reason the player count is were it is because there are still people who don't even know most of us but to Not be shown, respect for the Volunteering that we are doing for you is so not it like I said idc about cc skins or titles whatever just some respect for what we do for them we still are free Advertisement at the end of the day and do voice the community Opinions. So if anything I have said in the comment continues to go over your head, you aren't worth the time because you are closed-minded and aren't ready for this conversation 🤷🏽♂️
db devs have always been maaad sketchy man. it goes from them not admitting they're wrong to just being plain nasty in the server (then again the nasty stuff ended a few months ago, however ONLY when people from a third party started calling them out, then proceeded to be hypocrites about the people that pointed out the crazy stuff) they love js living up their egos and inflating them to the size of a balloon

There would obviously be more people playing the high level servers if they simply stated there’s more servers to play in recently. Like the only time (besides this discussion) they talked about VC servers and high level servers was on June 12th. By then, I’m pretty sure more stuff was coming out like the skins customization system. So obviously high level servers got overshadowed.
THE WAY i was SO excited to try out vc and high level servers just to find them empty AND WASN’T EVEN SURPRISED because I remebered how they barely ACKNOWLEDGED the gamemodes just shows how little work they put into listening to the community and actually advertising it 😭
Oh and btw, I only realised they existed two days after the update. And when I did, I LEGIT WENT: “I wonder if other people even KNOW this exists” before joining one hoping there would atleast be 4+ people, just to find and empty server and not even be surprised. As someone who is in the Daybreak discord, they used to have a shit ton of channels where you could create art, send art, and simply chat. *You can’t do that anymore* And plus they’re releasing lore via google docs

i can honestly agree, i GENUINELY had no idea none of them cameout, everyone was super focused about the new customization, stareater, etc etc. literally never heard about it until people in my friend circle have brought it up lol
I mean I understand why they would want their game to be small but it’s not healthy or smart as a whole. The game especially it relys on a lot of different players and players opinions for balance and change. But I do think another reason why they want it to be small is due to how long it takes for them to update. Months just for them to add someone, with multipul ‘delays’. A larger community would get tired of it a lot faster + what you and ancient said. They’d get called out for so much bs.

Nice video. Advertising would have definitely helped to give the pro servers some sort of life. Though I'm not sure how effective it would be considering not every lvl 1k+ player has interest in them, aren't all playing at the same time and need a server in their region to actually be able to have an enjoyable game. Still, at least some kind of announcement in the game could have made pro servers kind of active. I don't know why they refuse to do it. There's no harm in trying. It would absolutely be great if more people used their voice. That's also because the structure of the feedback channel is completely disadvantageous for anyone who wants to say something more controversial. If you do, your message is gonna be flooded with downvotes and there is not much you can do about it. You can only edit your message, but you 1) have a character limit, 2) can have your message flooded away and 3) require someone to reply to you so you know why people downvote your message. And if your topic gets flooded away, you can only wait thanks to the 6 hour slowmode (Which seems way too long btw). I would go on about this, but it's way too much for a comment. With that said: The more people show their concerns, the higher the chances it's going to be taken seriously. It's easy to brush off a few messages about a topic. But if they become topics that are actively being talked about then things are more likely to change.
Agreed on everything, also why make a read-only server and then let them talk about random shit on the FEEDBACK channel??? And then we gotta wait 6 hours to send another message just bc they couldn't delete and warn people to not flood said channel?? There's so many good suggestions that could actually help improve the game and it just gets flooded just bc they cant click a few buttons the only shit they good at 😊
Im only just now seeing this, but you at 100% in the right with this video. Developer behavior was a personal issue i had with them going all the way back to when the server WASN'T read only and when they'd vc. Now, I don't even post art submissions or anything cause I used to get harrased. Amazing development team, but some of them are not the best people/personas. Nothing against them at all, though.
I did not know they added the gamemodes until i accidently clicked on them. I wish db devs were more professional when it come to managing their game and community. I do like little jokes here and there for fun but at this point it seems like they care little about the game itself
