There was an interview years ago when they were filming TTS1 where they both said that they never did fan service. Gulf also said they didn't do fam service during a Haier promotion with P' Boy just after Mee returned to.bangkok from filming. They also said in that promotion that we only see 10% of what they do privately. Their eyes don't lie. In the interview where Mew mentioned fan service could be for many reasons because he has different working partners. Gulf also has new working partners but their close knit group of friends support them and know about their friendship/relationship. There have been many things over the last almost 4 years and they still find ways of telling their fans that they are together. They told everyone openly that they wouldn't be working together due to different career paths and if/when they worked together again would take some time. Then Mew said something about fan service and everyone thought he also included Gulf in that statement. Gulf is the one person who has supported him along with family and close friends to achieve his music career path. Ppl tend to forget that this kind of fanservice is just a game that we all play together (with the actors) for a while to promote a series. Most so called fans investing too much thought into anything that it hurts the actors/singers/etc. Even when they not end up together we should be happy for their happiness and not ruin it by hurting the loved ones of the idol/actor/singer we like. Maybe they still talk to each other but are afraid of all those crazy fans who just can't stop or seeing the line of fantasy and reality. If there wouldn't be this extreme serious ship culture most ships wouldn't be this streseed/pressured or hurt.

I'm new to the bl series and have enjoyed them very much, but I don't understand why they have to do this fan service. They have to put in so much emotional energy into it, surely its not good for them as individuals. It also seems some fans think it is so real that when actors have 'real life partners they are not very kind to them. Where is the line between fantasy & reality. Look forward to watching more bl shows. No badness intended towards anyone, show makers ect. Just trying to understand industry. 💜🇬🇧

They are not together, why, how is that possible, im still trying to understand what fan service is? They do all that to promote the drama, I mean wouldn’t it sell without going out of context? I don’t get the Thai industry, kdrama or china is not like that, once drama is over to each its own, they would promote but not in characters it so freaking emotional 🥹.
Fan service is basically extending the relationship of the characters to real life for the benefit of fans and for profit. It is very lucrative for a successful couple to do this not only for promoting the series but it builds their fan base and brings them many endorsement and business contracts. It also helps up to build their careers quickly. Also, a lot of fans and sometimes their companies demand this of them in order for them to maintain their fan base and opportunities. Some couples go way further than others pushing the fantasy and it is really too much. I wish they didn’t feel the need to do this but that is the industry unfortunately.

Essa história está mal contada e outra, em fevereiro desse ano no aniversário do Mew o gulf parabenizou ele mesmo ele não tendo enviado vídeo no niver do Gulf, mas isso foi pq a equipe do Gulf não o convidou. Eles tem projetos futuros juntos ainda se não mudarem de ideia já que mew tá em um relacionamento. Mas não acredito que seja empecilho já que eles se conheceram Gulf tinha namorada e deixaram pq ela causou problemas. Então é natural que mew queira alguém pra ficar junto. O silêncio deles é perturbador mas não vamos tirar conclusões precipitadas. Deixe que o tempo nos dirá o que realmente aconteceu.

Ppl tend to forget that this kind of fanservice is just a game that we all play together (with the actors) for a while to promote a series. Most so called fans investing too much thought into anything that it hurts the actors/singers/etc. Even when they not end up together we should be happy for their happiness and not ruin it by hurting the loved ones of the idol/actor/singer we like. Maybe they still talk to each other but are afraid of all those crazy fans who just can't stop or seeing the line of fantasy and reality. Thats is so touching and can melt hearts of everyone. Mew and Gulf did a very good job doing that, it's so believable! This kind of fans service is so much to think for wanjai that they are real. But in all fairness, this made us all happy for awhile. So i have to thank mew and gulf they really help me cope with my real life sadness. That's why, even im sad that Mew has someone now, im still happy he found his love. Hoping also Gulf find his someone soon too.

Fan service is basically extending the relationship of the characters to real life for the benefit of fans and for profit. It is very lucrative for a successful couple to do this not only for promoting the series but it builds their fan base and brings them many endorsement and business contracts. It also helps up to build their careers quickly. Also, a lot of fans and sometimes their companies demand this of them in order for them to maintain their fan base and opportunities. Some couples go way further than others pushing the fantasy and it is really too much. I wish they didn’t feel the need to do this but that is the industry unfortunately.
