I own both a *MMU2S* and as of recently also an *ERCF* for my *Voron 2.4* and I rarely used more than 2 Filaments at a time so having 5 at my disposal on the MMU2S was _plenty_ enough. _But_ if they can _actually_ get it working for _"All 3D Printer"_ then sure enough why not as it is not something either the Prusa MMU2S ( Prusa only? ) or the ERCF ( Klipper only ) can do.
I still say that if you're going to use it simply for colors alone then you need at least nine (seven spectral, two for black and white); maybe ten or eleven if you want clear and/or support filaments as well. Been saying that since the original MMU was first being touted at its own ridiculous price.
Hey lads, been using Co Print for 2 months now. I am pretty happy with the product. Had a little bit issues on the first days but technical support was actually pretty fast. Yesterday I saw that you guys completed a new funding, congrats on that. Are you aiming to have a new product?
Hello, Thank you for your interest in our products! We are currently in the process of developing a second product which we will announce in the next few months. Stay tuned for updates.
Hello! Unfortunately, we are not compatible with Direct Drive at the moment, but we will be releasing a second product in the near future. We will also be launching the promotion of this new product within a few months. By following us, you can experience our product on a different printer. 🙌🏼
I am pretty sure that the brick of filament in the back is from cleaning the nozzle during filament changes... That looked like quite a bit too. I don't think its for my use case with that amount being discarded. Maybe when I get a recycling setup for used filament. I think its a great idea for others though! This could be great!
Yes, that's always the case: you need to purge the nozzle before you get the new 'clean' color. There are a few things you can do, tho: 1) Tell the slicer to print another object (the same one as the multicolored one), and use that as a purge tower. You can paint that one if needed. 2) Prusaslicer can do 'wipe into infill': you have a greatly reduced purge tower 3) Orient the print so that the colors are on the bottom: as soon as there is only one color left, theres's no more purge block needed
Don't buy this, it is not a finished product. I bought it and I am trying to set it up for 3 months, calling different ppl that are of 3d world (and not) to help, thinking of our own ways to make it work, but it will eventually always get stuck. Wasted too much money for nothing. Good idea, unfinished product.
Hello, first of all we are sorry for the bad experience you had. We try to solve all the problems of our users as much as we can. If you send an e-mail to info@coprint3d.com, we can get back to you as soon as possible.
you should include a link to the Kickstarter in the video's description
Lol....then no one would want it.
Okay okay that is pretty cool!
what software are you using to slice multi colored prints?
Prusa slicer is great for multi metrical but i dont know if you can set it up for creality printers.
Based on the Prusa MMU2S but nice desing to have 7 colours instead of 5 that the prusa has!

Unless you have a multi nozzle setup, you need a purge block, there is no way around it.
