As an American that has worked in factories, I see so many improvements that I would like to make. Safety, work flow, comfort, and ergonomics. All these things mean an increase in productivity and happy workers. 🙂 Hard working men. My hardhat is off to them.
You forgot hygiene that would improve the efficiency of all the above. Cleaning the factory once every 3 months can probably increase their life expectancy by 20 years.
As an american or westener you wont have any work soon.
I see you have forgotten that it's in a very poor part of Pakistan and they are Barley scraping by as it is saftey costs money which that they don't have

I live in England UK ... here we are very Strict on HEALTH & SAFETY .. to look after our workers ..... watching these videos brakes my heart ... there is NO safety at all ...... we just take for Granted things that are made world wide ...... without any thought about the Dangers to anyone i feel so sad for these people who put there lives and limbs at risk :-( :-( ... thank you for you do for the world BUT please take care and look after yourselves ...

Amazing! The brave workers you see here are doing a great job in tough conditions and with no protective equipment. I was a little worried about the good man's hands in the sawmill, but he seems to be doing his job safely and very efficiently. May the patron saint of workers protect all brave workers!

Plenty of work steps look so inefficient and the missing work protection is just mind-boggling.
I've done engineering across Asia. (I believe this is in Pakistan or the Middle East, I have not been.) But I've been in many similar work situations to manage huge projects. I've proposed simple machines that would replace 40 guys that cost not much, but they make like $1 per hour both in Central America and in Asia. The owner looked at me and said, I could employ those 40 guys for over a year, before I could apy for that. How do you argue with it? Because he is correct. Plus they don't want ot put htem out of work either..... but they would if it made sense. As for safety, don't even begin to think like the west, you could hand them steel toed boots and helmit and they would think you lost your mind. I WORE! But it was fucking 125 degrees fehrenheit during the day and 90 at 3 am. THAT was hard to get used to. I would go lay in the tiny office that air conditioning, on the concrete like a dog, to try and suck up the coolness before going back out. Eventually, I made friends with the nieghbor, and would go over twice a day and get in a cold shower. Just put the same clothes back on with no towel. Not sure if you are American or maybe European, but its an entire different way of thinking and surviving.
