- Andy Kim performs Sugar Sugar then Tony introduces those members of the Audience members who came out to see him such as Bill O’Reilly, parents of The Jonas Brothers and Marvin Scott as well as Family members.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Toni at Resorts in A.C. He took the time to stop my Husband and thank him for his service during the Vietnam conflict. We told him we were unable to get tickets they were sold out! He said just go pick them up for that evening. We went to the show. It was fabulous. He engages with everyone his musicians are incredible incredible. Tells stories and just spreads hope for all. God Bless him and may he enjoy his retirement and continue having a Happy Life.

It was originally going to be given in 1967 to the Monkees by their musical director Don Kirshner, though when he was fired by the Monkees so that they could go inside the recording studio and make recordings of their own written songs, he took "Sugar Sugar" along with him and he got the idea to start a studio-only act based on The Archies comic book characters, mostly so that the animated cartoon characters couldn't "talk back" critically of him, lol.

I can't remember who told me this story - somebody who wasn't my favorite person in the world but who worked for Tony Orlando once - but he said Tony never said "I" did this or "I" think that. He always said "Tony" thinks this or "Tony" did that. One day, Tony said to this person, "You don't like Tony, do you?" The person said, "I like Tony fine. It's you I don't like."
