That's right. I've played a few of the the reimagined D28 and an HD28 and actually liked the D28 sound a tad better. I feel the the non-scalloped have more focused with more note separation or articulation while the HD28 had a bit more volume and projection. Both great but the D28's are a little better to my ear.
I think I’ll wait to hear your video on Taylor guitars to give an opinion on this one because the direct recording with mics may have influenced what I heard. Nice playing tough. Thanks.
The standard D28 does not have scalloped bracing. It’s forward shifted but not scalloped.

Martin went back to the forward shifted bracing for the D28 in 2017.

Please, can you do some video about Atkin Guitars?
Play that 00-28 again without the capo, I want to hear the bottom
Great guitars but really expensive, not for a working class hero like me. BTW nice version on im on sleeping :)
Skelter Kaito just save up money. Most of us working class heroes do.
@@marchel9322 I have 4 children's and not the best job so there is no option for a guitar like that :)
@@kaitodesire eh, endless nights watching stuff like this, soul food. Kids will grow, never give up mate.
He’s wrong. They don’t all have scalloped bracing.
