Dude I’m cracking up at your descriptions. “If you wanna experience fear.” 😂 For real though, great review! The thing that resonated with me most (as I’m wearing this fragrance now) is “when you want to be taken on a scent journey.” As my nose has developed over the last couple of years trying lots of different fragrances, I came back to this and fell in love. Initially didn’t like it. Now it’s intoxicating. And yeah, definitely not mass appealing haha. I couldn’t care less though. I feel great when wearing it. Thanks for the review.
The price for that shocked me. It's very inexpensive for a niche house. I have heard so much about the house but have yet to investigate it. Ha ha, Love the Crown Royal small town reference. Great video.
Ironically, Antoine Lie (the perfumer behind this work) has said in interviews that Rien was the most expensive cologne of his from Etat Libre to manufacture, due to the cost of ingredients. Yes, from a small town not far from Halifax, NS. Beautiful place but unfortunately not much to keep teenagers occupied.
@@realscentreview Yeah, the line is cheaper than I thought it would be and that one in particular. Where I live right now (Niagara Region) is exploding with people retiring and simply moving from Toronto. the Halifax area would be a great place to live given what's happening here.
Rien Intense Incense is pretty much the same fragrance as this + a lot of very smoky incense, and very strong performance - strongest fragrance I've ever smelled.
Never had a proper réflexion on it, but having this one, gucci gulty absolute and tabac tabou from parfum d empire...i maybe want just one thing with my fragrances...puting people off and no compliments 😂
Yep a must have wen you re already quitte far in your fragrance walk. I see it as a piece of art as 90% of what a want now. Do not care less about non initiate people tastes.
You or Someone Like You is minty with some licorice and florals. Very good summer scent. Fresh and appealing but unique. Fat Electrician is a smoky vetiver. Could be considered slightly challenging by some people but it is fantastic in my opinion. Exit the King and Cologne are also great if you like classic, soapy and clean fragrances. All this to say, the house also has a number of downright experimental, powerful and bizarre releases too.
