Nice machine! The tape handling is first class. Rewinds fast yet is gentle to the tape. It seems you have a noisy ball bearing though?

NIce work. I am still finding time to start restoring my another A80VU mk2, it's been idling for years. I would prefer DSD to PCM for the transfer. I had once done a transfer thru KORG in DSD format, it sounded smoother than PCM IMO. Cheers.

We have a SSL MADI converter. Sounds great. 96K 32bit.
