I absolutely love the game its my first ever early access buy and im happy i did i love the art style , story , combat and enemy variety. Im not a fan of having to wait behind a time gate when you have all materials to upgrade, i also think the inventory system needs to be better. Also the special vendor Finley seems to be no rest for the wicked version of Xur from destiny as he only shows up on saturdays:).
My first early access buys were Wolcen (that did not work out) and Slay the Spire (which was absolutely worth it). Personally I don't mind the time gating on city production, but inventory definitely needs some refinement.
Thank you for covering this game. Its potential is vast. Once they add future chapters and further world progression I can only see it getting better. And yea, Bear paws and Boar tusks are a pain to get and a bottleneck to experimentation right now.
I don't at the moment, but I can give you a TL:DR Realms are the game world, your character can enter any realm by selecting it on the menu. Think of these as a minecraft server. But characters persist independent of realms. So any items you have in your inventory / equipped are part of your character. On the other hand, quest states are locked to the realm, so if you complete the prologue quest "Sacrament" and unlock access to the city you do so for that realm. Should you make a second realm and take your character there, you'll need to complete Sacrament again before entering the city. Similarly, if you make a new character on your existing realm, Sacrament will already be available.
Love the game and was 50 hours into it. I guess the issue with the Bear Pawns is because the game not yet have the Tier 3 Area implemented. I guess they did not get it finished before EA, but really hope we get it soon. It's more important than Mulitplayer in my opinion so we might see some Tier 4, additional floors in the cruicible or fine tuning on current stuff like crafting etc. It's all nice, but still needs some polish or partially rework (e.g. Inventory & Stash Management is just horrible).
There's a few areas which need polish but the foundation is incredibly solid. I'm going to be making an early access review soon which will go into that + my experiences in more detail soon.
Extra damage. Because enemies have different resistances one damage type may be more effective. Based on anecdotal evidence I'd say Cold is the most effective due to CC. Then Fire/Electric are about equal, and lastly Plague is a bit worse.
I got super lucky and got an enchantment on my gloves that refilly stamina on Parry, allowing me to infuse the ruby gem so that I regain health on parry.
If you have a white item, weapon, add in runes and gems can you enchant it? If it enchants, does the type of runes and gems embedded change the result a certain way. Say if you put lightning runes only. Is the enchantment outcome more favourable for lightning damage?
If you enchant a white item, it loses 3 gem slots (slots 2, 3, and 4) and 2 rune slots (slots 3 and 4). If you slotted before the enchant, you only keep rune slots 1 and 2, and gem slot 1. I'd highly recommend enchanting a white item FIRST before you put a rune or gem into it, so if you roll poor bonuses, you can just buy/retry.
I'm confused on elemental damage effects, I have a sword that does plague damage but I was able to add a fire damage gem, so is the fire not actually working?
I believe currently it only applies 1 damage type, but I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug. The plague damage on the weapon will take precedence.
Not particularly, the Cerim Armor doesn't have great stats so it'll be a significant investment to make it equal to armor you'll find in the Cerim Crucible.
Game certainly has alot of potential. I ended up refunding as it played extremely poorly on hand held pc. However, once it’s optimised and out of ea it will be amazing.
Even on my desktop with a 3080 and i7-12700k I had performance issues at launch. Recently it's been a lot better but I do still get some frame drops especially in town. The game definitely has a lot of potential because it blends soulslike combat and boss encounters with Diablolike builds and item mechanics.

I just got to the town but i feel like i have a good handle on the crafting now after watching this. You have a really good teaching style.
Thank you!

You're welcome. I'm definitely excited to see how the game evolves over time.
subbed. i need to wrap my head around realms. any videos or article/ posts to recommend?

what does Elements effects do, specially the lightning.. I know Blue, stacks cold into Freeze cc.. how about fire and lightning..

Refill stamina on parry is super OP. At least... if you're good at parrying.

Is it a good idea to enchant the cerim armor?

@@Tenkiei thx my guy!! I think it’s time to hit the crucible I’m at level 24 with ok armor and weapons! Everything just mixed up 😂
You'll get a lot of T3 armor / weapons in the Cerim Crucible, they aren't always better than what you found already but the armor often is.
I was wondering if anyone knows where to find soft leather
is there a chance to disenchant an item? got the gnarled saw, enchanted it and got a penalty of exp loss on damage wtf
Nope, but you'll find another one in the future.
@@Tenkiei appreciate the reply
Love the game
Reminds of a borderlands type. Awesome !!!
I made a mistake on mine. SMH lol!! Messed around and put the damn return rune on mine. I was so pissed off..lol

can rings be upgraded?
Not currently.
Reminds me of zelda in a way
Ice throw is OP. Thank me later...
Sorry can't hear you over the sound of fire throw :P
@@Tenkiei 🤣🤣 great game isn't it.. But seriously, ice throw freezes your enemies in place for free kills. (if you don't one-shot them that is)
I put fire throw on my Gnarled Saw, enemies don't really survive that. Though I do need some more bear paws to upgrade it to t3 to max the damage.
@@Tenkiei if gnarled saw is str only weapon I'll defo give that a try!
It is, tier 2 (22 req). The default rune is "Limit Break" which is a crazy multi hit attack.
