I can’t watch them perform Playground live without wanting to tear up. This song means so much to our fandom, whether you were there since debut or not. 🤧 and yes you’re right, this song is really important to them/ahgase. The fans did a surprise project during their 1st anniversary fan meeting where when GOT7 was about to sing the A remix, the fans interrupted before they could start and everyone sang Playground to the boys and held up different coloured signs to form a heart in the audience. Jackson and JB cried, especially Jackson, and by the end of the fan meeting Jinyoung was sobbing too because they didn’t have an easy time after debuting. Even now, 7 years later, they sing the song with so much emotion because it carries so much meaning and so many memories between GOT7 and ahgase. 🥺💚
If you watch their debut performance, they actually started with Follow Me and Jinyoung choreographed it. He’s so ashamed of this song because he rapped and his voice was so baby back then. 😂 Jinyoung and Yugyeom often rapped back in the day! Like Oh is such a hidden gem, only real birds really appreciate this banger 🌟
They sang this on an episode of Real Got7. Please check it out. They were in a kid's place where you can play in the plastic balls etc. The whole episode is fun. YT! Enjoy! Also so you know Playground has special meaning because at their very first fan meeting the Korean Ahgases at the fan meeting surprised them by singing it etc. The members were very touched. In my opinion, they were still finding their way and their own style in the first few albums. Some of their songs like "Like Oh" was one of them which quite suits them in the earlier ablum.
A lot of songs around their debut were also mostly from JYPE in house producer especially the 1st album, they were young as f and they were debuted as more of an urban/ rap/rnb it went with the era and what they liked to back then but yeah you clearly see a change gradually when they produced songs it turned out wether really rap/ rnb ( songs like king, manana, BOOMX3 the list goes on or Thursday aura etc) oriented which I actually think wasn’t really that far from their style around debut it was just an upgrade or them finding their own style and being more grown
1:39 as I just said in the other thing in the other throwback vid you did here you can see Jinyoung rapping who turned more into a vocal later. And yeah Yugyeom is tall AF i met them twice during meet and greet and while they seem all the same height Yugyeom is like 10 cm over them 😂 and Mark appeared really tiny and I was actually shook about Jinyoung boy been training he was muscular AF
Yugyeom is the tallest and the youngest. He is 6 ft at least. Whatever 183 CM is. Youngjae is like 5'10 I believe. Depends on the shoes they have on too
