Let me be honest after dozens of other UA-cam videos trying to explain to me how "simple" probability can be explained, this is the ONE (ONLY) video that actually got me to VISUALIZE how probability works. Shoutout to your drawings, they are masterpieces of art.
Thank you so much. I've been taking tests and they never explained this to me and you gave an amazing explanation. Now I can finish the test off strong and confident :)) thank you for the help
i have to take the ACT and i know it will have some questions like this. I never understood how to do probability word problems because my teachers made it so hard to understand. After watching this im like really!!
omg I'm about to have probabilities test this week on thursday and this video helps me 80% on knowing how to do simple probabilities hahaha. Thank you so much ! I'll come back and tell my test scores haha.
I have a probability test tomorrow. I don’t have the best teacher when it comes to teaching, but I hope this video will help, so far you’ve made it seem pretty simple. I’ll come back after I get my test result
Omg, thanks for helping me out with probabilities! My teacher doesn’t explain this stuff very well and I’m about to go into my final exam for math and it’s going to be about probabilities! Wish me luck!🤞🏼
This is the theoretical probability. It is just another way of saying the mathematical probability of something happening. The formula is the favorable event/total possible outcomes. The other kind of probability is experimental probability that is when you actually try it out and document the results.
I am a senior and although went to Grammar School did not do this in Math. I am trying to help my Grandson who is in Grade 8 and I wondered it you have another video which follows this one ( which I understand) that gets into a bit harder questions. HIs homework is just a bit beyond this and I cant figure it out to help him Thanks
That's funny that you ask. I took a course in college about avoiding test anxiety and making good guesses on tests, and I was thinking of making videos for those topics. Probably won't be up and running this week, but I'll put something together for you.
You presented the concept of probability in a clear way. But there is a misconception in the month problem since each month contains different number of days. We should calculate the probability based on the number of days, instead of the number of months. For a year with 365 days, P(er) = (30+31+30+31)/365 = 122/365.
Hy sir, can you please help me with this, "if sample size (n)=5, the estimated prevalence (p) is 1%, what is the probability of not detecting presence?, (ii) what is the probability if prevalence is 10%. Your kind response will be appreciated, sir.
I am in grade 8th but I was meant to be in primary 6. I am not suppose to be in this class but I am in the class. So I need more mathematics videos. I won't disturb you.
You bet! I'll teach you everything you'll need to prepare for 7th grade math! I just built an entire course with videos like this, and tons of supported practice! Here's the info and a 10% discount for watching the UA-cam channel! 10% Discount Code! YTube-10 simplifyacademy.thinkific.com/courses/grade-6-mathematics
Yo! Can anyone help me out with this problem here? This test is due in 5 hours. The face of this spinner is divided into sixths. Is the spinner is spun twice, what is the probability that the arrow will stop on a vowel both times? The letters are : A, B, C, D, E, F
Omg I didn't know probability Yen minutes ago.and now I do this is amazing thanks so.much I was so frustrated one now I realise how simple.it.is definitely subscribing
Watching this a day before a probability test 💀. I swear I understand probably but then these word problems are written in some advanced English that only people with an IQ of 5000 can understand 😂😂😂 thanks for this video
You are welcome! Word problems can definitely be confusing and I think some people write them just to be confusing. I hate when that happens. Glad the video helped!
This playlist is not a specific grade level. It's lessons from a foundations math class I taught. I think this topic is 7th grade, but following the new common core standards it might fit better into high end 6th grade.
ok, this actually really helped me stuy for my math exam, thank you so much. I have to take the Math State tomorrow and it counts for my grade so I have to do good.

Wow just from this one lesson I have mentally covered probability in a nut shell. I wish I had you as my online tutor!
I never understood the topic and I have a test tomorrow, but this video made it crystal clear. Tysm.
Love to hear it! :)
I used to have a 83 and now I have 94% because of you

I just came across the channel. It is like a refresher's course. This made me LOVE mathematics even more. Excellent teacher indeed.
I agree.

I was just listing the responses, but I can see how that might be confusing. I'm glad you understood what I meant. :)
Excellent teacher👏👏👏

Yes, but that is based on the probability that the speed of rolling is always the same, and the height is always the same, etc etc etc
Thank you for sharing,it helped me

This is a helpful video😊...would you please do another one about Probability For Compound Events🙏
I need to sue my high school math teacher,he made math seem so hard such that I couldn’t even understand this simple problems.
Well if teachers make it seem hard, it does ensure they will have a job...
