god I LOVE how the fusion spells are handled so much more in this game. In OG you had to have those personas on you at all times, it was way more cumbersome. Only thing I do miss is getting to choose what weapon we wanna use, but I get it, it's already well rounded.
CRT is Cathode Ray Tube. It's what TV's were before we started having flat screens and is a whole different technology. Flat screens make colored dots and then have a light source behind them. CRT's sprayed light at the front of the "tube" and hit colored phosphors on it, which made them glow. Many people find CRTs to be nicer to watch, because the glow fades gradually and it gives a smoother effect, but they're limited in size and resolution... no 4K and 40-inch ones weighed hundreds of pounds!
Heh, I know you hate it, but running through Tarter Sauce, from floor 1 to however high you want to go, is the single best way to make money in this game. You get XP, you get loot, you get money from cards, you get items to sell... and you can decide how long you want to do it for, and what level ranges you want to do. MUCH more profitable in every way than working jobs. The only thing working jobs does is bump your social points, which is fine, but you can also do that other ways too. Plus, at the level you are now, the enemies on floors 1 to 10 will probably die in one round of auto-combat, meaning you can fully clear each floor for every drop of loot in about a minute. Also, if you don't recue people who wander into Tartarus before the full moon, they die. So it's OK to put that on the back burner, but if you forget about it, or events make it so you can't do it close to full moon days, well... you have to live with that. :)
Oh, BTW, if anyone wanted to try it more like the original... set your tactics for all party members to "Act Freely". that's how it was before they gave you options. If you don't mind mana being spent, their other automation settings are not so horrible. "Heal/Support" will attack if nobody needs healing and cure debuffs... it's a bit dumb about buffing or debuffing though. "Conserve SP" will use auto attacks or physical unless it knows there's a weakness to magic and thinks it needs to use it. "Full assualt" just spams attacks of any kind. The "rush" combat is actually useful if you're over leveled, but it doesn't know how to NOT attack (guard)... so even if the enemy reflects your damage back at you , it will happily do it anyways.
Don't forget to use items! If you see a weakness you can't exploit, check your items... maybe you have a combat item that does 50HP of damage... doesn't matter if it's 1HP or 9999, if it's weak to it and hits, you can knock it down.
I'm so looking forward to when you finally find out what Yukari's beef is with Mitsuru. They're both well written characters,, and I know you're gonna enjoy the roller coaster ride.
Oh, tip for you... when summoning personas, hit the triangle button so the list is ONLY the list of ones you can summon. It hurts having to scroll down through all those undiscovered blank entries all the time. :)
I know it's not fair... Junpei is a great guy... but every time Yukari says "I hope we don't run into any creeps here", I automatically think "Don't worry, we left Junpei at the entrance." Every single time...
IMHO, Persona 5 Royal is probably the best starting point if you're new to Persona and the Shin Megami Tensi universe in general. It's the most forgiving in terms of mechanics and combat, an probably also the most polished for quality of life features. If you then go to P3 or P4, you'll be in for a shock at how much more brutal the combat system is, and how less forgiving social links are... but if you go the other way and start on the harder ones, P5 will seem too easy. Obviously you can bump the difficulty up or down, but P5 probably does a better job hand-holding you by introducing all the systems very very slowly. P3 and P4 both do this too, but they ramp up faster -- or so it seems to me anyways.
I can't with constantly calling him Icoochie lol
iCoochie 15 pro max 👌😂⁉️⁉️
Some of the new voice acting really helps the characters shine, Yuko is a lot more engaging with her delivery now

Yeah, But RIP Victory cry Armageddon strats. Fully understand the how and why they balanced it though.
what do you mean rip? you can still do that
calling it a "strat" when its brainless is a bit of a stretch

5:06:45 Yukari: Horror elements, but if I'm scared, can you hug me?❤❤❤ This is the best Persona couple.
2:20:38 That's my Waifu number one in the franchise, like Mitsuru in her All-Out Attack, kneel before Yukari.
My mouth dropped when she skipped the opening lmaooo 😭😭

I don't really think Fuuka is shy per se, she just seems to be very considerate and quiet.

*giggle* Staring the national anthem over is 100% legit. I was expecting Miso to hop up and nudge your controller though!
