For the good of those who may be struggling with this, let me offer my experiences: Forgiveness has never been a feeling for me. It has been a decision that I had to make. And oftentimes, not a decision I made once and moved on. I'm human. I have not yet figured out how to know and at the same time forget. And every time the memory of the injury resurfaces I have had a choice to make. And there have been times when, in spite of what I felt, I raged, "I REFUSE TO BE OFFENDED!" And I screamed so at the top of my lungs more than once and it passed. In time, there's been less of me and more of the fruits of the Spirit in me and that has made it easier but it will probably always be a choice that I have to make. You can do this and you should do this because your peace lies in equal measure to the degree for which you choose to not be offended. To not hold a grudge. When I catch myself holding, I put it down if I have to throw it down. Keep trying and grace will step in on your behalf. You'll be ok.

I always have to remind myself, The Lord has forgiven me… because I fall short. So does everybody else. We are all deserving of His Grace and His forgiveness. He gives it out freely and we always need it.
We should learn to follow Yeshua footsteps.
They were horrible to me. But I have forgiven them and surrendered them unto God. I did all that I could to make them see their errors but they attacked me instead. So I did let them go. Let God's will be done I this situation. Amen 🙏
