This may be three years too late, but thank you for doing this. Every upload of the alternate version has low audio except this one. I preferred the alternate cause of the added strings and no auto tune so now I can listen to this on YT music.

I love love love the alternate versuon but i think the original has better mixing. If this was better produced then it would absolutely hands down be the better of the two

There’s an alternate (remastered) version of air catcher on UA-cam without that classic intro. My thought process was to slap the original intro onto the beginning to make it feel more complete and more like the one on Self Titled
