This gave me the motivation to shave my hair due to it being extremely matted and tangled because of a 2 and half year depression slump. I'll be buying a lace wig and I'll watch this as I apply it. Thank you for giving this 16 yr old some motivation. Because now I can restart and let new hair grow.

You are so welcome, you are so young still you never know it just might grow back! Whatever makes you comfortable and happy, you should do it girl!! Just know either way own it because it doesn’t have to define who you are 😉
I enjoyed this video!! I have had alopecia universalis for 2 years now. I just ordered my very first wig and trying to do some research on how to make it look natural! Most of the videos I watch here don't really apply because I have NO hair to begin with. I wished I could have seen a close up of what you were doing around your ears. Thanks for sharing!! Keep wig videos coming please please! 😇😇😇😇
ALISHA MOODY I definitely will! I have another install video I did for my anniversary weekend hopefully that helps some, but I will be sure on my next one to show a close up of that area because it can definitely be tricky to customize. I noticed that same problem tho, so hopefully I can help fill that void some 🤗
Look for wigs that’s are pre plucked or do it yourself look on here how to pluck wig so it looks natural I’ve never done it but I’ve researched for the past 2 years
I had alopecia since I was eight months and I have been wearing wigs for 11 years. That I never tried lace hairline ones until I came America and saw them, i really want to try it. And you are so brave to share your story which is super encouraging for me!! ❤️❤️
My mother has the same condition. She doesn't want me to help her install a wig. I will send her this video. You are strong and beautiful. Thank you for sharing 🎈🙂
Gorgeous. My daughters have it As well. They loss all of their hair by age 9, well as eyebrows and lashes. Your strong an beautiful. Love the hair style.
I have a form of alopecia and recently shaved the rest of my hair off, this video has helped me so much. For me, a lot of the other tutorials I’ve watched hadn’t gone into each little detail the way you have and it’s really helped me feel a bit more confident customising my wigs. Thank you so much, and you look so gorgeous with or without wigs ❤️
@@Vanali I’m so happy my comment helped you!! I love watching wig tutorials, but it means that little bit more to me to see someone who also has alopecia talk through it ❤️ representation means so much and you’re truly helping those of us who are just starting our journey towards accepting our alopecia just simply by existing in the youtube sphere! I aspire to be like you someday ❤️❤️
That’s exactly why I started, I wished I had examples of what I was going through as a kid but it wasn’t talked about back then and I didn’t meet someone else with alopecia until I was 20. I’m so glad that’s finally changing, it may take time to be completely comfortable but I’m sure you’ll get there 💙
Thank you so much for this video. I have alopecia and I have shaved 3 times. I was pondering whether to cut it again. I wanted to put wigs on a bald head and you have helped me to make that decision. You are beautiful with or without the wig. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have alopecia (I only have lashes) and have been holding onto this little full wig forever because I couldn’t find tutorials on how to wear lace fronts with a bald head, only bald caps, so I wasn’t sure I needed a cap, which means I basically wasn’t even sure where to start. I’m not yet confident enough to rock my bald head, but I enjoy playing in makeup, and want to switch up my hair without it looking absolutely horrible. Thank you so much for the newbie tips and (finally!) advice for those of us with no hair!
My mom and I watched your video together and wanted to say you are a great inspiration. :) We have been having lots of fun choosing wigs and now learning tips and techniques. Thank you for doing this. 🙏🏼
I cut my hair off due to alopecia just a few months ago and recently purchased a wig so this will be my first installation on my own. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. Btw you look beautiful with or without hair🙂
I came across your video while I was looking up how to apply a wig. My mother too has alopecia and has worn wigs half my life to cover it. She used to have beautiful curly hair and I have been wanting to buy her a curly wig and I had seen the lace wigs when I went looking. My mother has always purchased wigs with a fake scalp so we have no idea how to apply them. Thank you so much for this video. And also I would like to say that you look beautiful with or without the wig.
Mermaidmom Oftwins thank you so much for sharing, it’s so amazing to me how many women have struggled with alopecia and still no cure! I love fake scalp wigs they are definitely the easiest to install, I actually just launched my website and that was the first wig I chose for anyone beginner or not because it is truly a time saver and looks great with little work! Let me know if you need any help with wigs I will be posting more install videos soon and ironically on a water wave curly wig lol
@@Vanali Thank you so much for the response. I did actually think of one more question. My mom has trouble finding wigs to fit her head since she has no hair and I think she just has a smaller head shape. Can you cut the lace wigs to fit a smaller head shape?
Mermaidmom Oftwins yes you definitely can but it can get a little tricky depending on what kind of wig it is and how much you need to cut. I wear a size small and it fits me snug just make sure with the lace front or full lace that you tighten the little straps on the bottom first and then you can customize the elastic band. With my pre made fake scalp wig it fits very secure, some won’t use any glue at all but for pulling the hair back you can use hairspray for the side burns. Oh also for any wigs that she already has that fits too lose you should try the wig grip head band it has a crushed velvet texture that helps give a better fit so it doesn’t slide around, they have them on amazon for less than 10$ I would recommend getting the one that’s a solid band the one with a lace section for parting is very uncomfortable
I suffer from the same condition Alopecia Totalis and I'm getting better with the installs but still need more practice and your video has really been helpful
I was in a car accident have a scar on my head I would love to try this just to have long hair for once in my life this video was very helpful ... I'm in love your absolutely beautiful with or without the wig omg your flawless! Your boyfriend is a lucky lucky man........
Thank you maam.. My wife has alopecia universalys.. whole body,no hair.. now im looking for a cheap human hair, and also im always watching videos on how to make a wig. Coz i want to make a wig for my wife, using my own hair. For now, im just saving money so that i can buy a tools for making wig. Thank you. And God bless
I have pretty severe androgenic alopecia and I so want to just shave it off and be me confidently. Its hard being 22 and bald though, I feel so self conscious . . .
I know that exact feeling, I swore it would bring me negative attention but now I realize that whenever I do wear my wigs I fly under the radar but when I go natural I get stopped constantly by strangers either telling me how stunning I am or they love my “hair” which cracks me up because they don’t want to say head lol but it’s honestly a huge confidence booster when you do decide to try it! Check out a fb group called the baldie movement so you can see almost 2,000 women who also have a form of hair loss or even some by choice and they are working it! You can even try out your look with us before trying it in public just to get warmed up, but they are an amazing group of ladies and some are in all different stages of comfort levels and acceptance
This is an AMAZING video...U ROCK!!! Thank you so much...I do have a question...how long can you keep the wig secured with the glue, before having to redo it again?

You are so welcome, you are so young still you never know it just might grow back! Whatever makes you comfortable and happy, you should do it girl!! Just know either way own it because it doesn’t have to define who you are 😉
Found you video trying to help another friend. Girl, you are GORGEOUS! Your info is so helpful too. Thanks for sharing 💜.
I noticed that same problem tho, so hopefully I can help fill that void some 🤗
Look for wigs that’s are pre plucked or do it yourself look on here how to pluck wig so it looks natural I’ve never done it but I’ve researched for the past 2 years
Thanks! Since that video I’ve experimented with it but haven’t quite gotten comfortable with it yet
I had alopecia since I was eight months and I have been wearing wigs for 11 years. That I never tried lace hairline ones until I came America and saw them, i really want to try it. And you are so brave to share your story which is super encouraging for me!! ❤️❤️
Thank you Olivia! I didn’t know alopecia could start so young, I’m sure you are just as brave!! 💖
Thanks sis I’m recently suffering from alopecia and I appreciate you sharing this. Also your beautiful bald, blessings
Your are so beautiful. Your makeup is flawless! You should do makeup videos too.
I will definitely try I’m still trying to figure what I’m doing lol I’m such a novice in makeup
You are so gorgeous... with or without hair! Thank you for the tutorial, so much information! :)
Thanks so much doll 🥰🥰
Really nice!!!! I enjoy wigs so much
They are so much fun!! My little girl is so fascinated with trying mine on too lol
Absolutely beautiful with or without hair!
You make me feel braver, and I love you for it. THANK YOU 🙏🏻

I just came across this video. My daughter has Alopecia she lost all her hair at 8yrs old also. She 12 now. Thank u for posting
Thank you for sharing! Tell her to stay strong it’s very difficult to go through so young
omg you’re so pretty without hair! so edgy, so like high end fashion, very much VOUGE you’re so GORGEOUS! ❤️
You’re so sweet! Thank you love 🥰
I love how you put all the details and time it takes to do.... great tutorial
My mother has the same condition. She doesn't want me to help her install a wig. I will send her this video. You are strong and beautiful. Thank you for sharing 🎈🙂
Aww I hope this helps her, she’s lucky to have you!
@@Vanali 💕🌷🥰
This gave me the strength I needed today

Rosalinda Cuello thank you sooo much!
I’m so glad love, thank you so much for reaching out it helps me keep going because sometimes I get discouraged ❤️ keep strong love!
I’m so glad that’s finally changing, it may take time to be completely comfortable but I’m sure you’ll get there 💙
She’s beautiful 😻 for real and she did a beautiful job 🥰🥰🥰
Bout time you started a you tube, keep it up 👌 enjoyed it 😍❤️
Amber Mcdonald I know girl it was terrifying but I had to try!
It’s definitely easier for us to look good in wigs because we have the perfect template! 😍 so glad this helped
Your make-up is flawless
Thank you!
I lost my hair in accident .thank you so much for this video
you rock the bald sinead o'connor look, with hair or without.
😂😂🙌🏾 thank you so much!! I’ve never heard it put that way before lol
My mom and I watched your video together and wanted to say you are a great inspiration. :) We have been having lots of fun choosing wigs and now learning tips and techniques. Thank you for doing this. 🙏🏼
Aww I’m so glad it helped!! ❤️🥰
Great video I also have alopecia since I was 16 I'm now 59, Love the finished look 🙂
I cut my hair off due to alopecia just a few months ago and recently purchased a wig so this will be my first installation on my own. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. Btw you look beautiful with or without hair🙂
Thank you so much! I hope it works out for you ♥️
You are so pretty.. Love your facial structure..
Thank you! ♥️
Girl! You are the bomb! You're beautiful with/out hair. You keep doing you!
Much love 🥰
Wow, you’re beautiful without hair, you rock sis hair or no hair gorgeous.
Awesome!!👌🏽Very easy to understand, tutorial as II have dyslexia.
Much blessings 🙏🏽
Thank you so much!! I’m so glad it was clear I was so nervous 😨
I suffer from the same condition Alopecia Totalis and I'm getting better with the installs but still need more practice and your video has really been helpful
I’m so glad!! Keep practicing you’ll be a pro in no time 💙
Wow! So beautiful even without the wig!
I was in a car accident have a scar on my head I would love to try this just to have long hair for once in my life this video was very helpful
... I'm in love your absolutely beautiful with or without the wig omg your flawless! Your boyfriend is a lucky lucky man........
Thank you! So sorry to hear about your accident, bobs are definitely a great go to for a natural look.
Wig or no wig girllllll you are beautiful. 💗❤💙💛
Aww I appreciate that so much, thanks girl!!
@@Vanali no probs, I speak it like it is❤💗💙💛
Thank you maam..
I have trichotillomania, this video is so helpful ❣️
I would do max 5 days because i get irritated by it and i hate sleeping in wigs too long lol
I came here as a bald guy because I'm looking into doing a cosplay as Geralt of Rivia. Very informative ❤ Also you're beautiful with or without hair
Thank you so much and I’m glad it helped!
She’s stunning
Thank you so much, this was my first time with a lace front and this was extremely helpful
Beautiful before the wig. Perfect shaped head and a gorgeous face. You worked that wig tho...you're fabulous boo!!!
Thanks doll 🥰
Coming here as a cancer patient. Thank you for your video!
Hey! I suffer from CCC alopecia. Gradually it’s gotten worse and worse. I’ve been debating whether or not to shave and get it over with. Watching this give me so much comfort in knowing there are options for us! Beautiful 🥰🥰. Thank you. Subscribing 👍🏾
Aww thank you love!! I know it’s a lot to deal with at first but once you own it it’s so much fun being able to switch it up or be extremely low maintenance but still fierce! Whatever you decide just know it’s always on your terms 🙌🏾❤️
I also have had since I was 8 wished I had your confidence
It was a long road I couldn’t believe it took me to my twenties to start owning it, it was hard to start but once you do you’ll gain so much confidence too🥰
I loved your video, because I have Alopecia. What the brand name of the hair you were using? By the way, the results were just beautiful.
Thank you so much! Unfortunately this wig was discontinued but I will see if i can find you something similar
@@Vanali thanks for contacting me. I wear Gray wigs whereever I can find them. See what you can do for me.
You are so gorgeous! Ive got alopecia too and wish my face was pretty like yours. Thank you for this video I ordered a lace front wig and am trying to learn how to wear it for when it arrives :)
Aww thank you so much I’m sure you will look great either way!!
Am I the only one who thought it looked so natural even without the baby hairs?
Very brave and very beautiful with or without hair😘
You’re so sweet! Thank you so much 🥰
Thanks! For the video. Please do more. I shaved all my hair off and I wear wigs now.
Naturally Gifted thank you! I definitely will, what’s your favorite style of wig?
Ok I came looking for wig tips but I’m just in wow of how beautiful you are!! 🤩 🥰
Thank you!! 🙌🏽❤️
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US INTO YOUR LIFE!
Aww thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
Fantastic very natural
Thank you so much Vanali Co I have alopecia too. I really thought u had to use a wig cap .i shave my hair off. I have a hard time keeping it on cuz I sweat
Wig caps are definitely my least favorite to wear but if you’re needing more support wig grip headbands can help
Thanks for sharing, my hair just stopped growing and falling out and I have had a hard time with this. I am so encouraged by your courage and was debating luke others whether to cut it all off or try to keep holding on to the little I have. Inspired by you 🙏🏽❤🙏🏽
Thank you so much for the compliment!! Hang in there your confidence will grow with time ♥️
@@Vanali thank you, and it did I cut it all off and love it ❤
That’s amazing!! ♥️♥️
Loved it, Approved ❤❤❤
I also have alopecia I've been wearing wigs for a number of years you are beautiful
Hi Esther! So nice to meet you 🥰
Hi, Vanali
I am Leatre. I have had alopecia since 2n d grade.. Mine also started little by little. falling out. I have been wearing wigs since 2nd grade. Thank you fr the video. I really have trouble cutting too much lace front. I woring on the baby hair
This really hit hard because I’ve had alopecia since I was 8 as well lost patches here and there and I’m just now losing every bit of my hair on my head to my eye brows and eye lashes and I’ve broke down because I was always made fun of and Im a young mom now and I don’t know what to do or how to install a wig and this is very helpful and I have a lot of hope watching your videos. Makes me feel like I’m not alone in this so thank you for sharing this video!❤️
Thank you for sharing love!! Hang in there ♥️
Wow! You’re so beautiful with and without the wig! Thank you so much for sharing this. Do you think that this wig works better than the prosthesis humain hair? (The ones you use with glue to install? )Thank you very much in advance for your response.🌺
Prosthesis wigs are more expensive for sure but honestly I don’t think it’s needed, especially if you’re just starting out
Thank you so much for your reply Vanali!❤️🌺 Take care and keep shining girl.⭐️✨
Great job , can't wait to receive my Vanali wig.
