That you for making this video, everything you said is what people are feeling, for me I get upset every time I think about what is going to happen in the last episode, if Jack is dead then this will be the last time I will watch this show, I purchased all 5 seasons on i-tunes and I feel robed
River, thank you so much. Your reactions and beliefs about WCTH are so, so sad and so, so true. The problem I'm having is my heart has gone out of the program. I wish that it didn't, but it did. I don't believe I will be able to watch anymore. The only reason I would would be for Erin Krakow. She is outstanding. Some major station needs to pick her and Daniel Lissing for prime time TV. They don't have to be together. Just on prime time. I hope their agents will help them achieve that status. It, of course, would be outstanding if they acted in another program together or movie. The sky is the limit. And, again, the writers, producers weren't responsible. To me, they are just a few corporate men who don't know a lot.
Yes!!! This is literally everything that I’m feeling right now. I totally understand that actors need to move on. But there are 1,000 better ways to handle it than this. And if he isn’t leaving, this was just wrong. I go to Hallmark for happy feelings. Not to be dragged around like a rag doll
Miz A'lyce and you have that right!!! Hearties should not be scolded if they choose to stop watching :) I’m actually right there with you I don’t know if I want to watch season 6
RIVERTHOUGHTS They are literally playing and disrespecting the fans of "When calls the heart" show.... trying to keep us around by making Erin character pregnant........So what.....without Jack Thorton ( Daniel Lissing) who cares. Hallmark channel I'm unsubscribing.
I don’t know how I missed your comments on this episode and the finale when they originally happened. It just got reposted on a FB fan site, and I could not agree with you more. You are spot on with everything you said. Season 1 was the best; Season 2 did not make the show; Season 3 did start to get better again; along with many of your other comments. I am still feeling used, and you are right that we can have opinions on the product we pay for. The entire plan for him leaving the show was so poorly handled, and even now people still say it’s Daniel’s fault. It was in No way his fault; he didn’t write that cruddy storyline for the last 1.5 years when they knew he was leaving. Poor poor poor decision king by the producers and writers. I still have to wonder why there was a switch in show runners right before Season 5 was to begin. Maybe the previous show runner didn’t agree with the powers that be on how they wanted to handle it. Now that we’re 4 months later, I was wondering how you feel at this moment still hurt like many of us are or ready to embrace this new season?
I’m still hurt actually :( every time I see anything when calls the heart related, I feel a slight ping in my heart of the “what could have been” for Elizabeth and Jack.... and also feeling used and manipulated by the producers... so I’m not watching the new season 😂 I don’t want to torture myself. Maybe I’ll look up some clips on UA-cam when my heart has fully healed but one thing is for sure I don’t think I’ll be spending any more money on them.
I agree. Many Hallmark movie guys and gals appear in season 2-5 as boyfriend competition for Jack ha, ha or parents of some of the children. The kids parents disappear even when kids are sick-Opal and Philip’s parents. If my kid was sick I would be there. I agree there should have been 2 episodes for the actual wedding. Season 2 was the worst. The wigs are bad. The actors froze through seasons but then the Christmas episode was obviously in summer. The fans deserve better. The dissatisfaction is with Hallmark and not Daniel. He told you for over a year he was going to leave. So what if Elizabeth pines for him. Better that than what was presented to the Hearties.
I agree with all your thoughts. This was definitely at gimmick for more viewers. We will still get our happily ever after - the one we want too. I’m believing that. Bring on the magic of WCTH.
I definitely agree on majority of the things you said. My family has loved watching this show, because you do not get this kind of quality in tv anymore. It is hard to find shows that the whole family can watch without shielding kids from swear words or sex scenes. This show had humble things about it such as hope, faith in God, and love. The show also taught some valuable lessons. My parents and I said basically the same thing about Season 2. It did turn into a soap opera acting with the constant drama with Elizabeth, Jack, Rosemary, and Elizabeths family. Season 1 was definitely by far the best season, because they really tried to capture certain elements that happened in that time period. The outfits played along nicely with it too, as you mentioned. Not that I do not love their outfits after Season 1 (because they are cute), but it made the show too modern for a show that is supposed to be taking place back in the early 1900s.
I just seen a video on what someone thought about the last show of when calls the heart and I feel the same way, I tune on the hallmark channel to see nice show where people like each other don't get killed and have a good time . We see enough of bad thing in real life. I like the hallmark channel to get a good feel . bad thing in real life with hallmark it's a happy place.
We know that they are excellent actors because they got all of us "addicted" to their show. But as Lori said, actor's do decide to pursue other things once their contract is up, and I wish Mr. Lissing only the best which we all should. I can't even imagine how difficult it was for the entire cast to lose a member of their TV family. My only comment is that as soon as they knew that Mr. Lissing was leaving, at that point in time the writers should have started preparing us earlier for his upcoming death instead of how quickly they brought it on right after the marriage. Please keep in mind that they ended on a positive and hopeful note with the pregnancy. With the birth of Jack's child, we will now see how Elizabeth grows in her role as a single parent, the problems she'll face, and, in time, eventually having a new love interest. This will then mirror what so many women have to deal with in real life on a daily basis. In my opinion, there aren't too many shows like this out there that a family can watch together. Therefore, if anything good comes from Mr. Lissing's departure, it will be that the writers are much more aware, if they aren't already, of how their viewers are truly involved and care about the characters and this show. I truly hope that once everyone gets over the shock of Jack's death that they continue to support this show, otherwise, we will be the losers because we weren't there for them when our hearts were called upon to support it.
you are right, season one is the only good season. everything came out wrong with the costumes and the dressess, were not suited to the year they are portraying. the story become little house in the prairie where everybody come in and go. no permanent citizen stay, they keep changing the participants and what about the ARCHITECT FRIEND OF PASCALE, WHAT IS UP WITH THAT PORTION OF 2 SHOWS COME IN 2 TEASE PAUL GREENE AND PAUL GREENE HAS TO FIND HER A JOB. that is too cheap trick. nothing else is true anymore.
Was that the last episode? if daniel was leaving, therefore why didn't they replace jack? hallmark has lots of other sexy male actors, iknow the chemistry might be poor, but i totally do not believe lissing is leaving though, i always call hallmark, happily everafter
The majority of fans that have written comments all over social media LOL have said they rather a RECAST than to had killed Jack off. I won't be watching anymore and you are right there are other good actors! Lissing is not the only one.
This is all from Daniel lissing wanting to leave, and go do his own thing , and walk out on a commitment. I don't know what else could have happened with the writers and Hallmark to make it okay for us. But him ,yeah he is directly who I blame. this has been a very hard thing to get past. I do not watch Hallmark to be left with these feelings.
Cheryl Iddings hmmm I think you have a great point there... it’ll just be hard for me to continue watching the series now not because I watch for one actor but because i watched for their love story unfold
Just Me yeahhh you might be right. I was against it at first but now that I hear they want to make her fall in love again it makes me feel like it would cheapen hers and Jacks love story... they should have just recasted.
That kind of love that J&E had does not get replaced fast, easily, if ever! Even if a spouse tells the other they want them to find love again, most with that kind of love sure would not be looking anytime soon if ever. And yes, I read the spoilers, too, on them having a new love interest for Elizabeth. They have just ruined the show not to mention rewriting the books since Elizabeth's husband does not die in the books. Most shows stray some from books but usually not so far as to kill off a main character.
@@riverthoughts2400 i hope they never let him to play Jack Thornton again just to leave again better put other actor if they want him back but Dan putted it on the trash
They did a good job connecting with SOME fans but anyone reading all the different comments at different sites would know they did not do a good job for a lot of other fans. I'm done watching! And don't tell someone that has watched every episode from the first to the last one last week, not missing any that they are not a real fan LOL You can say they are no longer a fan but not that they never were one. The story lines are going in a different direction and fans that want to go with that fine and fans that don't want to go with it that's fine, too.
LOVED what you had to say!!!!! Please do a Part 2 or after Finale. I love it!!!! We are allowed to have an opinion about the product we paid for!
RoyalMasterpiece I’m planning on it :) lol I have so much to say about it!

I completely agree, wondered why I felt so angry and disappointed and you stated it beautifully. I do feel used and ripped off.
I cannot watch "When calls the heart" anymore without Daniel Lissing.

If Jack is written out of the series, by his wish that's understandable but the people who watch.this program should be warned. First.
She is so right

I agree with every word you said!
Hola qué tristeza si mataron a Jack en esta serie tan hermosa es un personaje clave y elizabeth no se vale desde México saludos
I agree that they did poor writing for the show since
the beginning of season 5, I am disappointed
I don't like the new writer's idea of a good Hallmark Series. This has been so stressful.
Please review the season finale would love to hear your thoughts.
Amanda Parker totally will!!!
Hey HEARTIES major news JACK IS NOT DEAD
Alayna McDowell did you see the finale yet?
Alayna McDowell Daniel is not dead jack is dead
Yes I have seen the last episode
Shantell don't go saying that go tell at the other person that had it on another video that he was alive
I'm upset and I don't watch it on a regular basis.

The way THC did it was perfect, because it proves just how good a job they've done connecting the characters with the fans.
I'm still a big fan.
