Soon as flowers appeared this spring I started to gather and dry flowers in desiccant powder, which leaves them more 3D. I also like drying baby's breath, which can then by dyed different colors with food color and rubbing alcohol
I gather flowers and greenery all year long. I use 4 methods to dry them , 1 naturally, 2 press in grease proof paper in books. 3 silica Gel and 4 Microwave Fleur press. Loved this video. you explained things perfectly. NOTE to new people wanting to dry flowers. really thick flowers wont work eg Gerberas.Unless you pull them apart.
Next molds to get!!! I had to go watch the video on drying the flowers..... I've tried to dry them in the past without much luck. I may try again with the press that you made. Love the little trays you made with your own flowers. Knowing that someone took the time and effort to dry the flowers themselves that they use will make the trays mean more. Ringy-dingy🔔🔔🦋🦋
Oh, the flowers are lovely! They are the same detailed size (my ADD eyes love the calm that brings to the combination) but are different in shape and colour so they bring out the best in one another. Perfect. Being Swedish the yellow and blue colours are close to heart, with the green they are so midsummery and happy to me (oh, sorry; our flag is blue/yellow). The plates would be perfect in the bathroom for both bottles of liquid soap and bars of soap to rest on. Really nice, you do pretty things.
Thanks Steve. I pressed some flowers this summer just for this purpose and have some new molds I haven't used yet. I have a flat heart shaped mold that I want to make a Sun catcher with my neighbors flowers and fern I dried and want to surprise her with it as a gift. I'll make sure I do a lot of squidgy widgies.
Very pretty 😍. I've got several trinket moulds, but not the ones you have. I think I will have to get some. I will put a few pics on your Facebook members group, if you are interested.
This resin is obviously a much better choice than the ones I have been using. It seems so versatile and almost 'oops' proof. Love that! Your accessory trays are lovely. TFS!
Loved the video. I made a tray and sone of my flowers poked out. What resin would you use if you wanted to cover the flowers from sticking out? Like a top coat. I’ve searched for the answers everywhere.
I love the heart trinket bowls ive sold a ton of them and this bigger one you made sold those to .Thanks for the tops love your chanel i just started with resin. Im selling a ton ofstuff and Im not even on etsy yet. Any advice for that?
I just became a paid subscriber but I have to unjoin because the main reason I joined was to see your videos on how you make your videos but there aren't any as promised. I was hoping for some tips. Well I was a short lived subscriber.

These are lovely. Never thought of these trays for the bathroom. Great idea.
Gorgeous 😍
We appreciate you, Steve.
The choice of the purple and yellow flowers really looks great!

Steve I would love to see how you would make a Brooch :)
I love using my own flowers, they look lovely Steve 😍
Those came out nice. I have one dish soap mold and I want to do flowers in mine as well. Thank you for the video.

Hi Steve! My husband and I enjoy watching your videos. We're wondering if you can put an iron-on sequin patch in resin? We'd love to see you try. :)
I love these Steve… I’m new to resin, love to learn as much as possible. Trying to find a new hobby - will happily buy you a coffee for some advice xx

Ah! Perfect timing! I've been wanting to get bouquet to press, and now I know how to store them.
Thank You

They are lovely
My flowers never comenout so nice. They always go brown on me
I dry mine using crystal kitty litter. Its less than $5 for a bag at Wal-Mart and only takes a few days. Never had luck with a press either.
Steve your making me go broke hahaha just kidding but these are gorgeous !
I cheat and use flower stickers in my trinket trays. 😀
👍😀👍
Fully cured resin is technically food safe, but there are FDA certified food safe resins.

Your videos are interesting but you talk all the time and too fast, it is difficult to understand everything for French or
other country. Thank you
