Congrats. Symply awesome video with perfect music. Have several geophagus myself (sveni, tapajos red head and steindachneri), love them
Such a stunning tank. I love it❤
This tank is awesome! Daemons, geos and parrots are my dream cichlids! Would love to see more updates as they mature.
Thank you.. you are the best
Stunning setup! Nice fish. 👍
Amazing fish and setup 😍
Wow santoperca daemon jurupari was huge... you have a ton of geo species gotta love it, i current have a 55 and a 75 gallon both geo community tanks with over 10species
Really beautiful aquarium. Loved it.
Thank you. Indeed it was. Unfortunately I had to emty it because of the noticed degradation of the tank silicon :-(
Definitely one of the best S/A tanks I’ve seen. If you can find them, a pair of Heros Notatus would go really well in there 👌
Absolutely lovely.
Very peacefull🤩👍
Lighting??? Looks amazing!
Scape, species selection and lighting are fantastic
Thank you!
Sooooooo beautiful
Beautiful tank!
Thank you! I can not wait to see how these fishes will mature as they all still are just teenagers
@@justinaleliene2219 yeah I'd love to see how they mature, especially the satanoperca Daemon. That dominant male looks stunning, it would be amazing if they all turned out similar to that! And the bold blue colour on the Geos really stands out too
what are the dimensions of the tank?
@@ethanwright5461 the tank is 200 cm long (~6.5 foot), 62 cm wide and 65 cm height. That s.daemon male has started to dominate at very early age. He has been feeding with larger fishes right from the start meanwhile other s.daemons were waiting while bigger ones will leave the feeding area. Anyway, I still hope that others will catch up.
@@justinaleliene2219 thanks! Yeah hopefully they all catch up. I've subscribed so I can see how these guys progress
Beauty
Thank you
What type of sand is this?
If I may, what is your ph at? How big and how often of a water change do you do, what is your filtration and what do you feed your fish.
Thanks for the inspiration.
I use tap water without any pre-treatment or ph adjustment. The last time I checked it ph was at about 7.8-7.9. As for water changes I always try to keep nitrates bellow 25-30 level. Unfortunately, I do not have any drop system, the fishes are still growing so I feed them generously and consequently I need to do partial water changes 2 (or sometimes 3) times per week. For filtration I have sump with ceramics and some k1 micro type floating media.
@@justinaleliene2219 thank you very much. Are any of your fish by chance, wild caught and does your true parrots mess with or try to eat your corydoras?
@@theone5404 No, all fishes are captive-bred. As for h.psitacus they are nearly absolutely ignorant to all other fishes except for the species of their own kind (corydoras are absolutely not interisting for anyone in the tank :-)). As you can see in this video we had 4 h.psitacus and they were dealing fine. But recently we decided that fishes has grown up significantly and we need to free up some space. Therefore, we moved out 2 parrots. Unfortunately, one of the two who has stayed started to bully the other one and now we are thinking what to do next :-)
