I am really new to learning how to play harmonica, and for several months had been trying to bend notes on a Seydel Lightning. Finally, my private instructor suggested that I get a Hohner Rocket. Within five minutes, right out of the box, I was able to bend Holes 1-4. I thought I would try a Hohner Rocket AMP, so I got one and it is even easier for me to bend (and I bend using tongue blocking). I was so impressed I ordered all the different keys for the Rocket Amp and just ordered a Hohner Rocket Low F to see how those are. I love these harps! Cheers.

Definitely a great harp. I also like the Rocket Amp's as well. Nice informative video 👍

I saw the amp and the low versions on Ebay. What is the diff between the amp and the regular rocket? The low is self explanatory. Is it better for mic and amplifier?

I started with a bluesband. After a couple months of playing regular I bought a Wilde tuned Seydel session steel. I was a little disappointed. A couple weeks later I bought a Hohner Rocket and I absolutely love it. Great video!

I've played Harmonica for decades from Blues to Country, from Rock to Folk. Special 20 is the one I use commonly but The Fender Bluesdiville is quickly replacing it as my common choice for practice and Jams. I save The Rocket Progressive for public performance. Expensive as they are I don't want to replace them often due to bent reeds or simple ware and tare from regular use. Here in the U.S. the music stores don't stock them fully also due to price. I suppose they don't want their money tied up in inventory that moves to slowly. That makes it difficult to go in and find what you want when you're ready to purchase on the shelf and waiting. I only purchase Rocket in keys I'm likely to play more often. Lee Oskar for me feels to blocky I don't like the squareness and flatness placing your mouth on it, but I do purchase them now and again. They sound good just not comfortable to play. The Rocket is louder then the others absolutely. But when you are going to be mic up anyways in performance I don't know that's as big an incentive to purchase them. So just a few of my observations and experience.

That's interesting. It's worth noting that we stock all of the Rocket keys (when we can actually get them from Hohner), so if you do need anything let me know. We regularly ship to the US too.

Hello, what harp is better between rocket and rocket amp?
I have no mic and amp and just the note and quality of sound is important for me
    Thanks🎵

Standard Rocket would be the best for this sort of use.
