  • Hi Friend, Today i am sharing with you Real Peshawari Chapli Kabab Recipe, Chapli Kabab is my most favourit dish.
    Chapli kabab (Urdu: چپلي کباب‎) is a Mughlai-influenced Pashtun-style minced kabab, usually made from ground Beef, Mutton, Lamb with various spices in the shape of a patty. It originates from Peshawar (City of Pakistan) , what is today northwest Pakistan, and is also known as the Peshawari kebab.

    Ingredients:
    1 KG Mince (25% Fat) (Keema قیمہ)
    3 Medium Onions ( Piaz پیاز)
    2 Green Chillies Optional (Hari Mirch ہری مرچ)
    Fresh Coriander (Hara Dania ہرا دھنیا)
    2 Medium Tomatoes (Tamatar ٹماٹر)
    1 Tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste (Adrak Lehsan ادرک لہسن)
    1 Tsp Crushed Carom Seeds (Ajwain اجوائن)
    2.5 Tbsp Crushed Coriander Seeds (Saboot Dania ثابت دھنیہ)
    1 Tbsp Crushed Cumin Seeds (Jeera زیرہ)
    1.5 Tsp Pomegranate Seeds OR Powder (Anar Dana انار دانہ)
    2 Tsp Crushed Red Chilli (Lal Mirch پسی ہوئی لال مرچ)
    1 Tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder زیرہ پاؤڈر)
    1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder (گرم مصالحہ)
    1/2 Tsp Black Pepper (Kali Mirch کالی مرچ)
    Salt To taste (Namak نمک)
    1 Egg ( Anda انڈہ)
    2 Tbsp Plain Flour (Atta آٹا)

    I made these kabab’s today. And it was superrrrrrr delicious. I like alittle spicey so i added 1 Tsp biryani masala and insted of maida i put 3-4 tsp roasted besan. It was Too tasty to resist. Jazak Allahu qairan kaseera for the easy recipie.

    Nothing like "Kareemo kababi" kabab in Nothia area of Peshawar in the late 50s and early 60s. He never used garam masala so kabab will not taste like curry.

    These look lovely. I like to add sauf and anardana aris aswell as the whole seeds mentioned in this recipe, then dry roast them for about 1 min until they let off the aroma before grinding. I also like to roast the powdered spices for about 30secs

    If I make with 2 kg kheema do I have to take 50% fat or same?

      What ever total weight you will take of Keema, just 25% of total weight. For 2 Kg should be around half kilo fat or you can do little bit less.

    Love it but just 1 thing. Garam masala is a no no. Coriander, cumin, black pepper and dried pomegranate seeds. Fantastic and yummy looking kebabs
