Your mum is nice! Well, it's a good way to set off on understanding the english language...you hit the nail on the head, speaking fast is the horrible monster for every english student and the only way to get through it is to listen to as much podcast we can. How come your mum says brummy accent is one of the worst? I looove it! I would say it is my fave british accent. She is awesome and funny btw.
British people generally don't like In Birmingham.Right??
Not necessarily but there were old stigmas that people had in the past. I think a lot of that has changed now
Generall ignorant people are the type who dont like this or that about . . .
If you move away from your home town and go back to it. You won't like it because it's not the place you knew.
