Girl, I just spent $550 on a record. For anyone curious out there it was broke with expensive taste by Azealia Banks, it was rsd exclusive limited to 1000 copies. OK that’s me trying to justify my purchase. Lmao 😭

I also made a $550 purchase last week. It was for Pure Heroine (Clear Vinyl) and I’d say it’s definitely a ridiculous amount but worth it.
A thousand copies is a lot.
The sweetener one is real!! I dropped everything that day, because i needed that vinyl! Shipping to New Zealand is expensive but I needed that pressing
Hi Lillie ! I sold a 7" single by the punk band Black Flag for $1,500 & some people have spent $2,000 for it. I was shocked at it's value & knew I needed to sell it when I found out it's outrageous value. I won't exceed $100 for any album myself. 12" singles tend to be really scarce so don't feel bad about that Wham purchase. It's a classic & will maintain & probably gain value ! Take Care 😊

hmv had a giveaway for Louis Tomlinson walls when it was first released, I entered on a whim without even having a vinyl player and forgot I even entered until I got a package and opened it only to find Louis’s face staring back at me. To this day that vinyl is my most expensive vinyl in my collection and the vinyl that started it all. Never have I been more lucky in my live 😭
i bought the coke bottle urban outfitters version of rise and fall of a midwest princess by chappell roan awhile back for like $100 and it's insane how much more expensive it's gotten, i thought $100 was crazy enough 😭😭
i got a machinations original pressed single for my heart's on fire for $15 at an antiques store, $1000 on discogs at one point
Also does anyone know why the 1D midnight memories album has never been pressed on vinyl. I know we got the picture disc for RSD but we never got the full album on vinyl

I payed 200.00 on Discogs for a sealed Shinedown Sound of Madnnes deluxe edition only 500 worldwide. SOM went Platinum. It has been on Discogs for 900.00 and now it isn't available in USA and was 600.00 used in another country.
2yrs ago on Ebay I won Coconut Records vinyl for $281.00 but Coconut Records vinyls are really expensive its from actor Jason Schwartzman. high price is $500 but I seen some go from 100-1k dollars. Someone payed 1.1k dollars. They are so rare one of from 2006 and other one 2009 he never reissued them again
how do you store the vinyl? what sleeves to you have so that you can see the cover and the vinyl color?
i use outer sleeves and inner sleeves that i got off amazon!

Question, do you feel sometimes like you don’t want to collect vinyl records anymore? Been collecting since 2021 but suddenly i’m losing my interest in this hobby 🙁 Any tips if I should continue or just sell all of my records?
i’ve gone through slumps where i feel like im uninterested, so i let myself take a break from buying any new vinyl then eventually i always find my way back!
People spend big bucks on comic books that are in protective cases to be stared at. Records you can play while looking at the artwork. Enjoy your journey. I have a few that fall into that category. 😊

My most Expensive is Don’t Forget Demi Lovato. They did a restock so I got it for retail $27.00 but it sells $320
My most expensive purchase was Brand New Deja Entendu due cut 2 LP vinyl for 400 dollars. Worth it.

Do you listen to any Dominic Fike? I love his music and i feel like you might like it too! If you listen to him i suggest listenting to his albums/singles in order of release idk why but i love doing that with his music because you could see how his music starts to sound more complete (idk if thats the right word) as the years go on.

CD's have better sound quality and are still cheaper than vinyl.
Cd deteriate overtime its adviced to not store your precious personal pictures only on cd. The files get corrupted overtime. The sound quality and price is really good though.
@@JuanDeagle-sj2bt Vinyls deteriorate. A pressed CD won't deteriorate as long as you don't scratch it up. CD's will last forever.
@@JuanDeagle-sj2bt Burned CDs are not the same as Pressed CD's. Pressed CD's will last forever. Way better than vinyl.
@@endezeichengrimmno they dont its been known for while now that also music cds deterate. They claimed forever when they came out but there have already been cases of old cd s not working. Ive even heard only 15 yeras as a minimum but probarly more likely its 20/30 and up depending how you treat it. Look up cd rot there's plenty of vids here on youtube.
