I was a huge K-pop fan awhile ago but after awhile it just started getting weird, the fact that half the men in these boy bands are homosexuals and their obsession with looks has made majority of their population both girls and boys undergo countless surgeries just to be beautiful, suicidal rates with these famous pop singers/actress is actually quite concerning look up (Jong-hyun from shinee and Goo Hara from Kara) and their music is just as pointless it not changing the world or convincing us to change ourselves for the better.

Part of the reason on why music is haram is because of how people idolise musicians.
They say " he/she is my idol! I love him/her!" about a person they never met nor even know.
They defend them wholeheartedly, they gossip about them and they judge them deeply as if they actually know the person often forgetting that they're talking about celebtries, you only know what they show you.
They gossip about them as if they're not talking about fellow humans yet on the other hand they think those celebtries are the epitome of perfection.
It messes up with how they perseive the world, now they want someone identical to that celebrity, they want to be that celebrity try and they want that fame and that wealth without thinking what do celebtries do, go through and sacrifice in order to achieve that level of fame and wealth, they follow trends blindly, they "go with the follow" and somehow forget that life outside the Internet exists, the music and acting industries are one of the darkest and most toxic industries on this planet.

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ (7)
7. And when Our Verses are recited to him, he turns away in pride, as though he did not hear them, as though there is deafness in his ears. So inform him of a painful punishment.
From Surah 45 Kneeling
أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ (23)
23. Have you considered him who has taken his desire for his god? God has knowingly led him astray, and has sealed his hearing and his heart, and has placed a veil over his vision. Who will guide him after God? Will you not reflect?
وَقَالُوا مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَا إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ (24)
24. And they say, “There is nothing but this our present life; we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except time.” But they have no knowledge of that; they are only guessing.

The prohibition of music is based on clear statements of the Prophet ﷺ (Bukhari 5590, Ibn Majah 4020, Nasai 4135, Abi Dawud 4924, etc). All four madhabs agree that musical instruments are prohibited, and there is an almost complete consensus among scholars that musical instruments are prohibited except for specific exceptions (like the daff especially during events like Eid or marriage).
That's another reason not to become a muhammadan.

I used to be a fan of South Park. A huge fan. As soon as they did their thing against Islam and our prophet (PBUH) I instantly dropped them. I haven’t watched an episode, a clip, even a gif (knowingly) of South Park since then. In your heart you know there is no excuse that can be made to mitigate their actions. This is one of the few things in life that are black or white, no shades of grey you either choose your lord and creator or you choose to anger him with false allegiances.
They don't own you their lives just because you are fans. They can listen to or share whatever they listen to. You being anti homosexual doesn't represent all of us. It just makes your religion seems close minded and judgemental of others who are different. The song is not wrong about religion intolerance of homosexual. If you want him to apologize for the songs he listens to, you are going to apologize for a lot of things you have done including spreading hate on him. Does your religion teach you to spread hate and being controlling?
1. LGBTQ and seculars also intolerance of religious people by forcing kids to learn how LGBTQ have sex in schools. We cannot disagree intellectually at all or we will be called homophobes and police will called on us like that one one Christian kid in the US who got called on by police because he refuses to participate in LGBTQ festivals in school. Not to mention Uganda, got sanctioned by the US because their people democratically vote to implement anti-LGBTQ law.
