So glad you recorded this whole show. I saw them at the New Orleans Jazz Festival on Thursday, May 4 and folks at the fest raved about how good their Lafayette show was. They played at the Cultural Exchange Tent and later that day at the Fai-Do-Do Stage. Both shows were amazing and I was able to talk to the band, they met my 2 yr old grandson, who dance through their whole set and was able to pick up both the East Pointers and Vishtun's newest recordings. During these shows, I could feel the Spirt of Koady and Pastelle come through their sets. While I hope the individual groups continue with new music, the synergy of the four is very special and I hope they can release an lp. I'd love to get this set on a live cd. Keep it goin' kids, I love your music!!!
I heard that this concert was at the children's stage. It just shows that music like this appeals to the child in all of us. All of us are never too old to have a happy childhood!
