Me and my friend both watched the first season of Sweet Home in 2020, and we had to wait three years for the second season to release. When it finally came out, we found we couldn't remember a damn thing that had happened, so we decided to put it off until we had both re-watched season one. He died earlier this year, and now a third season of Sweet Home is coming literally months after the second season, which as stated we had to wait years for. That's what you call the universe having a sick sense of humour. And I still haven't watched any of season two.

I waited for season 2 too.. But this turned upside down, basically the season was boring asf. It was all involved with military and that one mother raising her own "monster" kid.
Sorry for your loss. You might find it hard to watch alone now. But maybe you can finish what you started for the sake of friendship.
I do agree the prequels took too long to come. Maybe they were fine tuning everything. And they filmed season 2 and 3 together so it's understandable for quick release of season 3.

This season was worse than season 2 god im disappointed its so far from the webtoon its it's own thing, season 1 is the best this season looks cheap (terrible CGI) inconsistent characters, stories and motives if you're expecting a badass fight between main guy and antagonist at the end you will 100% be disappointed i give this a 4/10 season 1 was lightning in a bottle 2 was boring, and this was inconsistent garbage let me know what yourll think

@@aestheticcreations2352that's called building the plot. S2 was just like building plot for s3. And in trailer we can already see that song kang is going to get the most screen time as he is the one who wants to put an end to all of this. So now story will revolve around it
It's probably because they were filming season two and My Demon around the same time
I think season 2 was just an introduction for the characters in season 3 and this time the series will be even better because we will have Eunheyok and Hyun su together and both of them are half monsters. I bet they will be too powerful and as a half monster they will fight the humans who will try to destroy them. This will be like a final battle between them which will determine if half monsters can stay along with humans.

No I don’t think so. Sweet home was amazing because of the survival aspect and how it’s like a call of duty zombies kind of show. It was amazing to watch since it was humans vs monsters. But now wtf who’s the human and who’s the monster??

I felt the same way. Season 1 while being smaller in scale, all taking place in the apartment building, felt larger in scope. It had this survival horror feel to it and you really got to feel what was going on through the characters. Season 2 suddenly turned into a weird military drama, with nowhere near as interesting characters. And even though it was taking place over a larger area, more locations, it just felt smaller. The closest comparison I can think of, is the difference between Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 6. It went from survival horror with interesting characters trying to stay alive in a desperate situation. Into an almost superhero action extravaganza with a huge bonner for the military.

Finished all three seasons, these series are very interesting, I liked the whole idea about humans and the final level of monsterasation. And the actors really did a great job, Well done 👍

this looks so much better than season 2..season 1 was good..season 2 i found it a bit boring and confusing and very less screentime for our half monster but season 3 trailer looks amaizng..it shows the half monsters fighting for their place to coexist with humans and i am excited about it

Rating 7/10
They really disappointed us in the last episode of the series. Since the beginning of final season 3, they were building suspense, promising a huge fight in the end that we all wanted to see. However, they rushed to the ending, which was honestly crap. They also added unnecessary scenes in the last episode and left many questions unanswered, leaving us disappointed. Overall, the final season 3 was good, but they just ruined the viewers' feelings and expectations in the end.

One of the greatest series ever. I love how they've made a way to make the story flow after the manga's open-ended season finale. Great acting, the cast is both impressive & expensive. entertaining story, great cinematography and cgi. 10s across the board.

I've been a big fan of sweet home ever since it came out and just seeing how big it has gotten and now there's a season three, makes me so happy.
I am really excited but only for Song kang because second season wasn't that great as first one

1st season is the best, 2nd season kinda weird, hope 3rd season will be better
S1 focused more on the horror of the monsters and the connection of the people. I think the other 2 seasons lost a lot of that and that was disappointing to me. S3 lost a lot of that for me, and S3 was even more disjointed, although the whole series was good in general. I just felt like they missed the mark without the human connection so fully functional in the first season.

Everybody was saying season 2 is boring. Sure, all of us wanted more Song Kang (Hyun Su) but that doesn't make it boring. It was awsome too. Probably season 3 would be more exciting cause we had the build-up through new characters in season 2. They better make it like that, to make season 2 worth it.

I'll give my review as I have completed the series. Spoilers ahead.
Tbh I had more expectations from S3. I loved every scene where En hyeok, Eun yu and Hyun su were together but En hyuk didn't have much screen time this time when they could have utilised their chemistry better. And in the beginning, again, the story looked all over the place. It was only the last two episodes in which the story actually made sense but I was still confused about the villain, like did he just d!ed like that ? And they should have utilised atleast half the time of the last episode to show the post apocalypse time, not the few minutes they showed at the end. I also wanted more Eun hyeok and Eun yu moments as neohuman 😩
@ParasMrar-ln9qzthe main thing which the doctor brought in a suitcase..is also not being answered.. what is that.. then why special humans feared neohumans which his brother told in Episode 7.. then many more question.. very disappointed from the ending scene.. they could have given 30 mins more to the series and answered our question..
@ParasMrar-ln9qzYes I did read the webtoon and most of the stuff of webtoon was shown in season 1 and by Webtoon standards the story should have ended in season 1 only. But for all the build up they did in season 2 with the depth of their characters, they couldn't utilise it in season 3 (Imo for making the story less confusing, they should have focused on S1 characters). And I think having too many characters again made it difficult to focus on certain characters which again made the story all over the place. And I also expected them to use Eun hyeok and Hyun su's dynamic against the villain which they only did at the ending. Maybe that's why I was disappointed.

It's an amazing feat to have filmed 3 seasons of this elaborate and intricate story. All the actors were top notch, they gave it their all, and made the individual stories so real and personal. It was quite impactful and the effects were mind-blowing. Knowing Song is in the military right now, he must be able to feel gratified that he's done excellent work once again. I've never watch anything that I kept on asking myself if I could live with such filth, dirt, blood, goo. Those wonderful monsters were extremely very effective - kudos to all involved in this great productions.
Jin young better live in this series istg. Been too traumatised crying for him when he died in Love in the moonlight. Just once, would i love to see him live, even in this world of monsters 😂😅

I've been the biggest fan of the Sweet Home series ever since the webtoon era, so it's just so nostalgic to realize that we're already on the final season... I still remember the day when I found out Sweet Home was going to have a Netflix live adaptation, I was literally so happy and so excited because I love Sweet Home so much! It's just so sad to see that this series is finally coming to an end... I just finished rewatching seasons 1 and 2 for the third time to start fresh, and I can finally say that I'm ready for season 3!

I have seen all three seasons and I have to admit, we are all monsters from birth. It is up to each individual whether they let the monster inside them go free or keep it under control. I watched season 1 on release. I had to wait years for season 2 and watched the first episode on release, but had completely forgotten which characters I liked and why. So now that season 3 is out, I went back and watched it all over, only to get to the time skip in season 2 and realize that doing that didn’t matter anyway because of the direction they took the story. And now I’m finishing it because of like 2 characters. Lol.
