I have been looking for this solution all over the internet! I got lost in so many different complicated ways but this is the BEST! I cant thank you enough
This was an amazing video. I got this to work perfectly. I used this in combo with a Zapier custom action that can WRITE to the same file so now I have a two way GPT. Where if I tell it to remember something, it adds it to that document to the end of it. To have an ongoing memory without having to go back into the document if I don't want to. What would be nifty is if you could give it access to a Google Drive Folder and then whatever documents were loaded in there that it could access to pull from for knowledge.
Using Zapier to create two-way read-write is a great idea! And I'd imagine giving the GPT access to files in a Google Drive folder is possible using this API developers.google.com/apps-script/reference/drive. When I have a moment, I'll play around and share steps to do it.
Great video, Adventures in CRE. Looking forward to seeing more content from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your upload. Keep up the excellent work! Your explanation of integrating Google Docs with a custom GPT was really insightful. How do you see this technology evolving in terms of data privacy and security for sensitive information?
Can you please let us know how to do that same but giving write function. For example, when i ask my GPT to add a task to my google sheets task tracker it will add it. That will be very helpful! Thanks :D :D

Fantastic tutorial. I've been needing a way to have my custom GPTs' knowledge bases to update automatically and this solves a ton of issues.
This is amazing! I follow it step by step and succeed!
Thanks for the awesome work!
Heads up that the GPT did make the path exec error which I was debugging for over an hour until I double checked this vid. Appreciate the tutorial.
Pure gold!
Fantastic looking for this information for months

Fantastic video! I tried it and it worked for me! Tell me, is it possible to do this in the "open ai playground" using Functions?
