To make a new engine design like super charged, ext you have to go to the engine stand when it’s empty and pick the one you want to build from the create new tab then take all the parts to already have and build it onto the stand once you picked it. Then use the crane to put it in the car. If it says swap-able you can build it and insert it into the car
Just got this game yesterday, I got the same Daytona from a auction (I'm playing on sandbox to learn the game) I stripped out all the parts and I have to order and get all the parts again! The game glitched and it said all the parts are still decayed. So thanks for the play through! It helped me know what parts go where 😅 you for sure got yourself a new subscriber!
I don't understand stand why this guy has low subs. This guy makes exelent content for car guys and non car guys and it's just amazing compared to others who have like millions of subs.
First saw this car on either Jay Leno, or Dennis Gage (MyClassicCarTV). Now here I am watching a virtual build. Gaming has come such a long way since my days of playing car games like 'Outrun' on arcade. When I was a kid back in the early 80's here in the UK, there used to be so many of these little mechanics' garage's dotted around my locality, and it was fascinating seeing these guys deep into their work under those open hoods or dismantled cars. Back then gaming was fairly new, and I wouldn't ever have imagined that this kind of 'work' end up as games; such a great idea. This is such interesting content. I imagine you'll blow up one day.
Bruh man, its not even king. The King was based on real NASCAR driver Richard Petty who's nickname was "The King" he drove blue Plymouth Superbird for some time, not Dodge Charger Daytona, they are a little bit similar but still different cars.
A way to remember the tire size, in this case the old ones were 215/75R14. 215cm is the width of the tread the 75 represents the % of the width in this case 161cm that is the tire wall height (profile) , and then R14 is the rim size.
Just FYI this already exists. The game is called Wrench and its amazing. Bolts have to be done up to torque specs with a manually set wrench - the level of detail is amazing. It blows away all previous mechanic games. Like just the brake are made up of the 15-20 parts that they should be per wheel, instead of just wacking on rotors. Engine builds take hours.
If only building an old mopar was this simple😂 i have a crate 360 short block comin for my duster, lookin forward to finally finishing my 6 year project
joe dirts car was a 1969 dodge daytona, that car is a 1970 plymouth road runner superbird, the super bird was a google copy and paste with a few modifications to give a slightly different look, ford and plymouth teamed up and made the car to compete with Chrysler in 70's in nascar.
I watch your videos because I love car mechanic simulator and I like playing it myself and actually I don’t know much about the game so I watch these types of videos so I know how to play it
I'd say it's a road runner just because it doesn't have the "race fill cap" on the back quarter panel, and the more angled spoiler, then again all the road runners had vinyl tops, where's the little scoops on the front above the wheel wells, idk why I felt compelled to watch this whole video, but I did, and I liked it, I wanna play this game
Best bet with regard to the engines is to modify the car's config files. In there, you can pretty change the stock engine to any in game engine once you edit the files and then use the game editor
1969 Daytona was designed for NASCAR. Because of its dominance, NASCAR required that Dodge develop factory cars for production. They built 504 Daytona's to meet requirements for NASCAR.
It’s based off of a Dodge Daytona. Best guess for the magnum bit is from the name of an engine that was common in Daytona’s and chargers, the magnum 440. They probably just couldn’t get the rights to the full name.
Nuclear cookies no they’re not. The Daytona is made from a 69 charger, and the super bird is made from a 70 roadrunner. Just cause they both have wings and nose ones doesn’t mean they’re the same
@@austinmoore4358 Well the superbird was made to be more aestheticly pleasing. While the Daytona pushed more for performance. Thus caused the superbird to lose some horsepower. Both cars are rather different all around, and they should be treated as different vehicles. (Because they are)
Is this game a good real life education on becoming familiar with car mechanics, terms and the repair process. I'm not trying to become a mechanic but I think knowing how the stuff is fix via gamifying it is cool.
Thanks for the fix up man!
You bet brother! And you were right, she buffed out 😉
Don’t you have a tricked out Camaro?
i thought u had a hemi
@@Willythehillbilly01 nah road runner and he never had a superbird
Shane Graf it was a 1969 Charger Daytona

enjoyed your build and you were very informed how to complete this project.😎
Matocaster you deserve to have atleast one million subscribers because, your content is awesome!
Most unrealistic part about this game is that you never loose your bolts and then have to spend half an hour to find 2 fucking bolt
Haha, or your 9/16” socket!

I just subbed even before watching the video because you seem like a chill dide
Dude
It's so easy to get the Plymouth Suprrbird and the Dodge Daytona mixed up. Too bad they didn't have a petty scheme.
I had watched the Joe Dirt movie literally over 40 times when i was like 7

you are like the underrated bob ross of the car mechanic simulator world

its so chill to watch
I like the video and first time watching. I subscribed
Clean nice video keep up the work I'll sub❤️
This game needs to be in VR and all those mouse actions need to be replaced by hand action on the Oculus Quest or Rift.
I totally agree with you there! Hopefully it’ll be in the next version of the game
It is now

''I want this to be a sleeper'' *while staring right at a dodge Daytona*
Ha! Good point 😂
daaaaamn i never knew car sim is this awesome
The reason the Tempest Magnum has it's name is that the Dodge and other brands were licensed after the game was finished and released.
It got updated today, I would love to see you make more videos of this game!
I love these fix ups

This car is one of the rarest Mopars produced because of the low production numbers and package options.
This channel is too underrated
I’ve decided to get this game
Awesome vid I love it but those back tires made it look like a dragster
i think that is the whole point
This is cool keep up the good work and what do you play this game on
To supercharge u have to have to rebuild the engine and select engine block (VB OHV) supercharged
I love you man you the best
Bro I just started watching y I ur video and awesome

David "Joe Dirt" Spade likes his car for Le Mans racing, even swapping in the most durable powerful Cummins diesel engine for that Superbird.
Daytona
yo keep it up i appreciate you

Did you watch jelly?
Yeah
This car came with 3 engine options, 440 4bbl., 440 Six Pack, and the ultimate 426 Hemi.
This game looks sick
When he said it was a Plymouth super bird I was like dude it’s a Dodge Charger Daytona
FNAFLover456 they’re basically the same thing tho
Nuclear cookies no they’re not. The Daytona is made from a 69 charger, and the super bird is made from a 70 roadrunner. Just cause they both have wings and nose ones doesn’t mean they’re the same
The Daytona and superbird are the same the only differents is the Daytona uses the 69 chargers body as the superbird uses the 70 roadrunners
Austin Moore exactly🤦🏻♂️ that makes them different stupid.
@@austinmoore4358 Well the superbird was made to be more aestheticly pleasing. While the Daytona pushed more for performance. Thus caused the superbird to lose some horsepower. Both cars are rather different all around, and they should be treated as different vehicles. (Because they are)

Richard Petty color, awesome...
This is the best movie ever
The wings to far back to be a superbird
Cool stuff
Sweet home alabama starts playing
3:36 because its a playmouth superbird they just modify the cars, a little bit like hennessey
HERE BEFORE YOU REACH 1MIL SUB
Me too
I think your videos are great
I did Joe Dirt's car as well in my movie series.
So when doing barn finds n stuff on the game can u drive to these locations or it drops u there n u pay whatever the cost for the cars
Soo amazing re
The reason it might not be licensed is it could be the Plymouth version
this video is awesome. but the only idea for Joe Dirt's Tempest Magnum is that you should have painted it a Cabernet red
It doesn't need to purr, it needs to ROAR.
Life's a garden dig it
No, the plate is still current issue here in Montana
oh and superbird is another model of a roadrunner, there's two models, the base model and the super bird
To put a supercharger on you have to go to your engine mount And create new engine and put your engine block in there
I don't think you finished repairing that engine block, I think there was another step to fallow after going to that table.
I love that 1969 dodge datona
