She's been built by CRN, the Ancona shipyard founded in 1963 and it is today part of Ferretti Group. There are a good 180 CRN mega yachts currently cruising. Cloud 9 is 74 meters long, 13.5 meters wide; the hull is made of steel and over the deck is made of aluminum. She is been tailor made for his owner who lives here with his family for long periods; she is his home and from here he also organizes his work. His 116 meter (380 ft) yacht Ulysses was in St John (US Virgin Islands) . . She was built by Kleven Yachts for New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart. . . He actually built two yachts; this one and a 107 meter, now named Andromeda. . . He reportedly sold Andromeda to billionaire Yuri Milner. . . In September 2019 & several messages that Milner also bought the 116 meter Ulysses (!). . . Hart in the meantime has bought the CRN yacht Cloud 9 and named her Odyssey. . . And we were also told that Hart bought the CRN yacht J’Ade. (And she is now on transport to New Zealand). .

One of my fave superyachts. The location of the wheelhouse confuses me though. I'd have thought swapping decks with the owner's suite area above would've made more sense.

If I owned this magnificent mansion on the sea, I would retire from work, take my family and just live aboard this masterpiece and cruise the world until my death, then I would pass on my wealth to my surving family to do with as the please, hopefully continue cruising. F#*k making more and more money, all you need is enough to live like this for you and your heirs
Problem with that is you need a net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars to maintain a yacht like this. Well you certainly don’t need to be worth that much, but your income has to be large enough to cover the maintenance, repair, and crew salaries, among other things such as the multiple six figures it’ll cost to fill the yacht with fuel, the cost of docking in a port large enough for your mega yacht, and most importantly and most overlooked, the cost of supplies and food to supplement a long journey or weeks/months aboard the vessel. I agree with you in what I’d do if I had something like this, I’d live at sea for the rest of my days, but when you say all you need is enough to live like this, that “enough” is an unfathomable shit ton of money lmao, maybe someday we’ll be billionaires my friend, we can only hope!

Hi maybe it can use 2nd grade fuel, same planes, cost here around 1/3rd regular diesel, so would of course be more cost effective

That's the base price, you also have to deposit probably around 150-200k with the captain. Returnable but it's 'splash cash', this covers any hire cars, excursions, impromptu helicopter transfers, the fuel used also etc etc.
