I installed a sub on my tailgate in my 91 wrangler. It rattles so loud I can’t hear the bass. I think it’s the compartment that makes the lock and tailgate work. Any fix?
You would want to determine what is actually rattling in the tailgate and if something like our Roadkill sound damping products can be applied, try using that to help eliminate some of the excess vibration and noise."
Unfortunately, taking video of the woofer in action would not capture how it actually sounds. We would recommend visiting a local Stinger retailer or attending a Jeep event in your area and checking out our booth or any of the many who already have one installed in their Wrangler to get an accurate idea of how it sounds.

Did you disconnect the ANC?
No ANC on this application, and all the factory speakers and amplifier had already been replaced with aftermarket speakers and amp.
I blown 2 of them with a 600 watt jl amp
