F80 owner and congrats on the car def Not a good time to buy these cars as they are over priced atm. Cars will go back down in price once the shortage is over its the only reason why used car market is crazy. I recently picked up a 22 X5 and i was very dissapointed to find out couple feature was missing. Payin 100k for a car without HK sound got me looking at used cars. My f80 my dealer was offering me 65k for my 16 to buy. Crazy cause i paid 55k used 3 years ago. Also regarding the extra goodies that you mention you got those are def worth more then 2k.
I'm currently in the market for a 2018 Competition. The prices are wild. I wonder when the market will start descending..? I hope people jump all over the new car low rates as manufacturers get back up to full production. I don't think dropping 63k right now is smart, as much as I want it and can finally comfortably afford it. This is a dream model M3 for me, hope I can get one soon.
Agreed but these are the new prices. It also has 3k in upgrades that I would have done anyway and the car is in mint condition. My other option was a stock grey m4 for 5 grand less.

Congrats, I just bought mine for 48k, has 43k miles on it. 2017 Silverstone Metallic. I sold my 2008 E90 M3 earlier this year, bought it for 24k 5 years ago with 69k miles. Put 20k miles on it and sold it in Jan for 24k to the dealer, I know I could have gotten more but didn't want to deal with any sketchy buyers. Used that money to get into my F80 a few weeks ago. IMO best bang for the buck.
Not a manual, it's a DCT. My E90 was a manual and I enjoyed it a lot. I have health conditions that affects my joints from time to time, so I opted for the DCT this time around. You are right, the drive is intoxicating! I can't get enough of it. The F80 has the torque that my E90 was missing.

Look into changing that top mount intercooler just a matter of time. It’s prone to leaking, I recommend the Mishimoto one.
Congrats! Since it’s tuned. Do you know if it has the crank hub job done? If not, might as well look into that for preventative. Awesome car bro!
