  • During the Tribulation Period God will use two very special men in a very special way to reach millions! We know what God will do with them, but it is debated who they will actually be? TOL End Times ponders this question. We'd love for you to join us!
"Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures" I Cor 15:1-4

Moses and Elijah accompanied Jesus before in the transfiguration. Why wouldn't they come to earth and represent him? Moses represents the law of God. Elijah represents the prophets of God.

Why would a good God send them to die? They have passed judgement and it is our responsibility to be in the spirit of our elders, like Enoch, like Daniel, like Elijah to be at least one of the two witnesses. We can be chosen, one of us like a poet and soilder iron sharpens iron.

I found out through our Apostle Paul, Jesus Christ's spokesman for today's dispensation of Grace, that we would have already been in heaven before the book of revelation starts. Why? Those in Revelation, the nation of Israel will be kings and priests in the earth, but God revealed through Paul that the body of Christ, Us, are made to rule in the heavens.
      ‭‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
      ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[18] And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
‭The Nation of Israel will rule the Earth under Christ's Kingdom here, but Christ also rules the heavens, but that will be through his body, us, since our Lord is promised to rule from earth for eternity. If you read revelation 12, you will see that halfway through the tribulation, Satan and his angels will be kicked out of their heavenly places of positions(spiritual wickedness in high places, thrones, dominions, Powers, principalities invisible to us), but will be replaced by the Body of Christ for all of eternity when Christ and Michael kick them out of heaven. This is why in Ephesians and Colossians Paul mentions these positions and how Christ will fill them all. Genesis to Acts is about God reconciling the earth with the Nation of Israel, Romans to Philemon is the mystery about God reconciling all the heavens with the Body of Christ(grace, faith no works), and Hebrews to Revelation is the fulfillment of prophecy from Genesis to Acts before Paul was saved. Genesis to Acts is the past, Romans to Philemon is the will of God today in the present, Hebrews to Revelation is the future fulfillment of the salvation of the nation of Israel and them being used to reconcile the earth. Christ Jesus today is only preaching in our Apostle Paul's 13 Epistles, and when we first consider what Paul says, the Lord Jesus Christ will give us understanding in all other things of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation as we rightly divide God's truth.
      ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[7] Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭16:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:8‭-‬12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; [9] and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: [10] to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, [11] according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: [12] in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
There are other planets in the heavens with thrones Christ made for himself, but offers those crowns and thrones to every member as the reward for staying faithful and obeying from the heart this mystery doctrine in Romans to Philemon, loving these 13 Epistles understanding they are literally the Words of Christ for us today under grace. This is the doctrine Christ is currently suffering in his spirit while he's on the throne as his own body denies it and his Apostle Paul, and you can choose to suffer with Christ today is this mystery God gave through Paul, but if you deny Paul, Christ will deny you of reigning with him at the judgment seat right after the rapture, but you will still be saved, just no reward. And there's terror of the Lord at his judgment seat for anyone who denies Paul's gospel in Romans to Philemon and this mystery. Denying Paul is Denying Christ today.
      ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:12‭-‬13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[12] if we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: [13] if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
But if you love Paul's gospel, Romans to Philemon and this mystery of being Joint heirs with Christ and stay faithful to it until death or the rapture, you will receive a crown of righteousness to reign with Christ, and a Kingdom in the heavens from God the Father to reign and rule over in Christ's place, sharing in that same brightness and eternal Glory he had before creation. What a beautiful hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ.
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:16‭-‬17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
      ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:8‭-‬13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[8] Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; [9] who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, [10] but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: [11] whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. [12] For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. [13] Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

    • @mellowthreat
      @mellowthreat Місяць тому +4

@@sixchuterhatesgoogle3824 I used to think that too, but the Hebrews passage "man is appointed to die once and then the judgement" is NOT a promise with no exceptions. For example, all of the people resurrected throughout the Bible all had to die twice, breaking this rule (if it were meant to be a rule, which its not). The writer of Hebrews is making a point against re-incarnation and other beliefs.
Moses + Elijah were at the transfiguration.
Moses + Elijah's supernatural abilities during their time on Earth are both perfectly illustrated by the 2 witnesses (holding back rain and fire consuming people for Elijah and water conversion to blood and plagues for Moses).
Additionally, Moses death is very mysterious. God Himself killed and buried Moses. The Holy Spirit also gives hints that Moses was still seeing well and healthy at 120 years of age. Why include this detail? What does it mean when God kills you? Its mysterious. That mystery is made more dramatic when Jude writes that Michael and Satan fought over Moses' bones. Why would they fight over Moses' DNA? Is it because he still has a role 'in the flesh'? Fascinating to consider.

I've heard 5 candidates names throughout my 44 plus years of learning the Lord... Enoch, Elijah , Moses , as well as ( per the Gideons Bible- Joshua and Zerubabbel. Moses was not buried by man, but by God himself. Deuteronomy 34:5-6. Scripture says he was buried in Moab in the valley. No one knows where his grave is to this day. But we know God’s ways are not our ways. Something to think about.
I have to go with Moses and Elijah for that reason.

They perfectly rep the Church . The resurrected -Moses and the raptured -Elijah.They also rep the Jews being both Jewish and Moses rep the law while Elijah rep the prophets. 16 For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son,[a] with whom I am well pleased,” 18 we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.

One thing I find interesting about the Transfiguration is Jesus never told Peter, James and John who the shiny guys standing next to Him were. If Jesus did, it wasn’t recorded for us…so I’m assuming Jesus didn’t tell them. So my question is, how did they know it was Moses and Elijah? I know the Jews are into oral traditions, did the disciples recognize something about Moses, like his staff? Maybe the Holy Spirit alerted them? My question leads to my next thought, if there’s something about Moses and Elijah that current day Jews would recognize and know who these guys are, I think that would get many Jews to take them seriously and listen. I dunno, just my thinking out loud.

It's a bit interesting to me that Enoch was before the law of ten commandments and then Moses was given the law to give to the israelites / jews and then Elijah was a prophet who was truly giving the jews the good news of the coming of our savior Lord and king Jesus i have to believe that aft the rapture escape of the true children of God there will be a definite change in how the ppl who come to the truth of God and believe in Jesus as our savior Lord and king they will be required to profess their faith before others and at the threat of death of their physical body but truly believing faith they will have no fear of death because they know God's truth and that faith will display to others like nothing else can just as the first believers died for their faith it is a very powerful testimony for God thank you God bless all let us declare God's Glory before man during our last days here amen

Not a popular thought but you are on to something. Only Jesus Christ himself came back from the grave and heaven and then spent much time after walking the earth. Jesus is God. The 2 witnesses are definitely not God and they don’t have glorified bodies because what would be the point if they are going to die in the streets of Jerusalem, right? God bless you and give you wisdom ❤️

I used to think Elijah and Enoch, since neither died. But just the fact that Moses and Elijah were both with Jesus at the transfiguration talking to Him is very curious! What was the purpose? There were others in the Bible who died twice.. Lazarus was one, Jairus daughter was another… Paul and I think Elisha both brought people back from the dead. They all died a second time whenever their life ended on earth. Enoch isn’t mentioned in the NT, but Elijah and Moses are! It must have a purpose, I think it was maybe a conversation with the future two witnesses. 🤷‍♀️👀✝️🙏🏻❤️

I see most people believe the 2 witnesses are some combination of Enoch, Moses, and Elijah. But I think it is more mysterious than that. I believe God has told me that they are not only 2 groups of people - Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ, but that they are represented by 2 individuals. One of them, I believe, is the archangel Michael and he has lived many lives, including those of Adam, Enoch, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, etc. The other is another angel who has lived the lives of Eve, Deborah, Esther, Mary mother of Jesus, etc., and she is the woman of Revelation 12. I could be mistaken, but this is what I believe the Lord has shown me. God bless!

Hebrews 9:27 states: “It is appointed unto every man once to die, but after that the judgment.” How can Moses be a witness when it means that he will die twice? Whatever happened to Lazarus is unknown. It’s not clear to me that he died twice. Is there any record of those that were raised from the dead dying a second time? If so, how do you reconcile Hebrews 9:27?

If you are born again, you die daily. Paul did. THAT is the death that Hebrews 9:27 is talking about. Look at the scripture.

Preach the gospel in the streets

Great thoughtful question!!! The Two Witnesses... Elijah and Moses, which were seen with Jesus, OR Elijah and Enoch, two which (never?) died? Good arguments can be made for both. Will we know who the two witnesses will be, when they are here? Are they here already, and know not, who they are? Will they profess themselves to BE who they are, other than saying they are here to share the good news? Also, if we understand the scriptures, they will prophesy for 3 1/2 years before they are killed. And only after they are resurrected, will we realize who they were, and be ashamed and afraid?
Like the Pharisees, they didn't believe who Jesus was, until he was crucified. Will people not know or believe who these two witnesses really are, until it's too late!?

    DESCRIPTION OF THE TWO WITNESSES
    REVELATION 11:6
These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy (ELIJAH); and they have power over waters to turn them to blood (MOSES), and to strike the earth with all plagues (MOSES), as often as they desire.

After satan is released from the Abyss those "raptured" and NOT killed will AGAIN be at war and will receive death including the Children who were "aborted, miscarried and/or "killed in their youth" and the 144,000 who will be here on the earth during the "tribulation"

I go back and forth, honestly. But there is one other factor. Moses and Elijah also represent "the law and the prophets." Which would be the ideal voices to make an appeal to unbelieving israel to reconcile to God through Jesus. And the 144,000 would be a witness to the unbelieving Gentiles in the world. So there is that too. ❤❤❤ It will be one of those things i will be glad yo find out in Heaven.....Very Soon.

The Hebrews passage "man is appointed to die once and then the judgement" is NOT a promise with no exceptions. For example, all of the people resurrected throughout the Bible all had to die twice, breaking this rule (if it were meant to be a rule, which its not). The writer of Hebrews is making a point against re-incarnation and other beliefs. Its still usually true, but not to be considered a rule with no exceptions. With that point out of the way, consider:
1.) Moses + Elijah were at the transfiguration. Why did God specifically choose these two men? What prophetic significance is there? Simply representing the Law + the Prophets is true, but might there be a greater prophetic signficance to this bizarre event?
2.) Moses + Elijah's supernatural abilities they exercised during their time on Earth are both perfectly illustrated by the 2 witnesses (holding back rain but also fire consuming people for Elijah and water conversion to blood and plagues for Moses).
3.) Additionally, Moses death is very mysterious. God Himself killed and buried Moses. The Holy Spirit also gives hints that Moses was still seeing well and healthy at 120 years of age. Why include this detail? What does it mean when God kills you like this? Its mysterious and a sign of additional significance on display. But that mystery is made even more dramatic when Jude writes that Michael and Satan fought over Moses' bones. Why would they fight over Moses' DNA? Is it because he still has a role 'in the flesh' at some point? Fascinating to consider this.
4.) Lastly, who would have more sway with the Jews living in Israel during the 70th Week? Enoch, or Moses?
Bonus point: Enoch does not need any additional prophetic significance. He's completely squared away--if he came back to simply die, then he no longer ultimately represents the Gentile Church (us). Because the last generation doesn't taste death. He will have to taste death if he's a witness.
Enoch's prophetic significance is that that his symbology equates to the Church that will be raptured before dying. And how do we know this? The Hebrews writer says "by faith..." just like the Church. Enoch was raptured before God's judgement, the world flood. That's fulfilled, his ultimate purpose in the big picture was special and privileged--much like ours will be (I think) 😁

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5). I am not sure who the two witnesses will be, but I know it doesn't have to be Enoch because many of us will be translated (rapture) as Enoch was. It takes "faith" in our Lord Jesus to be pleasing to God.

Enoch was a gentile taken alive before God's judgment came, and pictures the Church. He even says his lot is to be cast with her in the New Jerusalem. No, the Law and the Prophets are the two witnesses... Moses and Elijah. I think so because, Jesus even calls them His two faithful witnesses, they were at the transfiguration and also at the tomb. As one Rabbi said, "If Moses and Elijah come back, a lot of Jews will believe!" 😂😅

It seems that the Jews put a lot of stock in Moses who does represent the Law that Judaism is based on and Elijah represents the prophets who the Jews at one of their feast days always have an empty chair expecting him to appear. As well, these were the two who were present with Jesus on the Mt. of Configuration when Jesus was about to be crucified, so I believe were witnesses to it. Thus I believe who better than to believe these men are the 2 witnesses who will be mourning in sackcloth during the first half of the Tribulation trying to get as many of the Jews as possible to believe in Jesus as their Messiah.
