Fraud at Anna University? | NGO alleges fraud in faculty hiring procedure | News9 Live

NGO Arappor Iyakkam has alleged fraud at the Anna University, claiming that several engineering colleges resorted to fraudulent means to acquire affiliation to the Anna University. The NGO has also claimed on the basis of college faculty records that multiple colleges presented the same persons as full-time faculty during inspections in 2023-24. As per the NGO 353 teachers presented as full-time faculty in more than one engineering college. It has also alleged a collusion between the AICTE’s Inspecting Committee & Anna University’s Standing committee while hiring faculty for the colleges.

It's not possible on AICTE portal as every faculty is given unique number by AICTE.
IF two colleges try to show same faculty then it finds out the duplication

They ignored funding thru institute of eminence tag. Quality of classroom are pathetic, student need to study on own. I think world ranking should consider all these things and not just research.

This university is fast losing its reputation. The university department administration is no good. VCs sacked, arrested accumulated wealth. Controller of exams sacked. Deputy Registrar arrested. Many more things are happening. University Phd scholars are not allowed to complete their degrees even after 8 years of continuous work. Callous teaching faculties. The worst university.
