Thanks, it's on the list of videos to do sometime, but you could always look at my videos 98,107,116 where I do a series of upgrades to a Union Padlock core.
Brilliant useful video thank you. How easy would it be to replace the barrel and pins with one from another Euro-cylinder and therefore a different key. Mine has a turn knob on the inside and a key barrel on the outside. Would I only need to replace the outer barrel?
Hello Pete, thanks for your video. I have a question, do you know of an EPC that has a motorized cam ? a small motor in one side of the EPC and a key or knob on the otherside ?
How about opening a lock u don't have a key for. I work in a DIY shop that sells cylinder locks a customer left a lock in store today, she had to have it snapped off the door to get in. So I have a keyless cylinder lock snapped, but thought it would be a good practice lock, afterwards I thought instead I may try stripping the lock down, can this be done with no key.
Great job Pete! Many people don't actually know how to do this.
Thanks, I thought the same, that's why I did it.
Mr.Restall, you make it look so easy! Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it and I hope it was informative.
Yes it was! You are an AMAZING picker and a True Gentleman.
Ahh! Repining it, and adding high security top pins, (transforming an ordinary lock in to a better lock), would be wonderful to see. Regards!
