Well Vinod, why the hell would the creators and director Sam understand creating this AI to be what powerful AI it is to be and start with it being "Open Source" and then make it close source because it is so powerful?!? Vinod's narrative is cute, but even the ALL-IN PODCAST made their discussion about it, and they did not have the same thoughts you are having about OpenAI and Elon Musk suing.
It’s sad to see Vinod resorting to attacking ( without much substance) one of the iconic entrepreneurs of our time. Also, Khosla Venture is a fast follower of Elon. Whatever areas he plays the venture firm invests. Finally, unfortunately, Bloomberg Technology looks extremely biased towards making fun of Elon. The female host looks moderate though.

Nope, if you read the (email) blog post by OpenAI, Elon did exactly what Vinod said he did. His point is valid.
