    I loved the bit in the other coma video where you combed the hair. When I woke up from my coma, my hair was a huge deal for me. I know it seems silly now, but when you aren’t able to move and your hair is legitimately a bird’s nest on top of your head, your biggest desire is just having clean combed through hair. The sweetest thing in the world was when (about a week after I woke up) I was finally able to fully shower and a tech spent almost 45 minutes combing through my hair. She didn’t have to, but the kindness will never be forgotten.
    Some more ideas for future coma RPs:
    * moving their limbs around to help lessen the atrophy a bit
    * talking more to them about how they are cared for and safe
    * brushing teeth
    * combing hair
    * checking the intubation breathing tube
    These are already amazing. I just figured I’d offer some possibilities if you ever do more. Thanks for being awesome! ❤️

    Thank you for this new amazing upload. I am not a doctor, but from the point of view of a patient, you are simply perfect in your medical roleplays. Usually I try to avoid falling in a coma, lol, but if ever, well if ever I'd be so glad you'd take care for my well being.

      =) 8 hour comas per night aren't too bad, so I am glad to help sedate people where I can. And thank you so very much also for your personal contribution

      You are very welcome. I forgot to mention, I like the heartbeat in the backgroundsound. I think It fits perfectly to the scenery.

    A video about a coma that puts me into a coma? Too meta for me!
    Stuff like this makes the universe collapse, know. I once gave cat food to my dog and a similar thing happened.

    • @YvetteASMR
      @YvetteASMR  7 років тому +20

      Oh noes! Your dog and collapsed into the universe? I hope that doesn't have too many meta-physical repercussions.
      I gave my cat dog food once and it just barfed. =\ The poor carpet, though.

      I once ate cat food and had to be stomach-pumped. Not quite universe-ending, but no picnic either, I assure you.

      Thank you! I'm glad it's soothing. I've been listening to a Snuggle Mom monitor for a few weeks and I had noticed how much I enjoyed that sound, which is what gave me the idea to record it. =)

    Love your ASMR stuff. Especially the medical stuff, which makes me less scared of being inside a hospital. Could you do one w. surgery/anesthesia being administered, intubation etc?

  • @georgialow155

    I've recently had a pretty intense ear surgery and a lot of loud noise hurt. I get headaches, I can't chew a lot of solid food (I've been living off of pudding and jello) because my jaw and neck are sore and it's been affecting my sleep because it hard to get comfortable that doesn't cause any sort if pain. But long story short these video really help soothe the ear and head aches and help me fall asleep. Thanks for them.

    • @YvetteASMR
      @YvetteASMR  7 років тому +2

      Aw, I'm sorry to hear that Georgia. As good as jello and pudding both are, living on them doesn't sound so fun. I hope it heals a little quicker or at least the pain lets up.

    Before I fell asleep I just wanted to comment haha I love this video! Is there a way where you could make a video of us having a seizure and personal attention when it's over?? I have seizures and I just thought it would be interesting :)

    • @YvetteASMR
      @YvetteASMR  7 років тому +2

      That's an interesting idea. I am afraid I don't know much about seizures. If there was anything you could contribute, it would definitely help me jive up ideas. Do seizures hurt? Is there a sensation to focus on that makes you comforted afterward? Along time ago I had a dog who had seizures and I remember the vet telling me not to make sudden, loud noises because it agitated the brain even more. I thought I could snap her out of it by clapping... boy, that was not the right choice... Anyhoot, have you had recommendations for how to treat a seizure afterwards? I'll consult the mighty Google on this. It's a great topic, I want to make sure I just don't give bad advice... like clapping =)

    • @mslaurengracee
      @mslaurengracee 7 років тому

      Yvette ASMR so I have conversion disorder which is a little different so I asked my best friend (we're seizure buddies it's pathetic lol) and they don't hurt and someone isn't aware they're having one until after it's over. Asking questions and answering their questions is important to make sure they know where they are. You have to keep them on their side because they might get sick and they usually want to sit up but they shouldn't let them until you're positive they're okay. Personally I like a cold paper towel or cloth on my head and just a reminder that I'm safe and everything's okay afterwards. I hope this helped lol

    Omg that made me sooo tired. Imagine that, I coma video that knocks you out :) Nice job. Love how soft your voice was and all the sounds seemed intensified. Heartbeat was a nice touch too...very rhythmic and relaxing. I wish every creator would do a coma video :D

    • @YvetteASMR
      @YvetteASMR  7 років тому +1

      Haha, I'm glad it was effective =) I have been watching a couple feral kittens that are motherless, and there's a SnuggleMom, which is basically a stuffed animal with a heart beat motor inside, and the kitties all snuggle and suckle it. I have been hearing that monitor day in and day out, and it has its own ASMR effect on me. I thought it might with viewers as well. Coma = good night's sleep. Hopefully. At least with the ability to freely wake up =)
