Here's Taka's answer in recent interview in their Hong Kong concert Jan, 2018 when he thinks "rock" means; "I think the definition of "rock" changes depending on the band itself and the generation. There's not one solid definition... I think "rock" means your ability to find a connection between your way of living and the way you do your music. For us, if you can work hard on something, never give up, keep doing on what you do and move forward, i think that the best definition of 'rock n roll'."
