exactly i'm not looking to invest a ton more into under/over quilts. Just a summer rig. I have a good tent set up, I just wanted to utilize the gear that I have.
yeah it didn't dawn on me when i was out but after watching the raw footage I realized that if I would of used the tree huggers like a choker it would have worked out better.
Yeah buddy I second checking out shugemery on youtube with his how to for noobs. He covers the gamut on hammocks, suspension & tarps. He's a riot to watch too. I still will use tents or tarps as shelters too, so it's nice to have options. When you go above tree line hammocks get tough : ) For me there's a big difference in a summer & winter rig with a hammock. Like I mentioned before my summer rig is simple with just a sleeping bag which is easy & won't require extra gear purchases. Nice job!
Congrats on your first Hang!! I remember my first night in a hammock to.It was a tad cold but it was 15deg out..lol If you like hammocking a under quilt and top quilt is the way to go. After I got those two Items I haven't had a cold night yet! If ya dont know already check out shugemery's channel hammock how to for noobs he has a great series on it.... Thanks for sharing!
I looooooooove my hammock so much I do camp into the winter with it as well
Thanks I’m a Boy Scout and this really helped me set up my hammock

Looks comfortable. I need to get new gear so I can get back out to camp. I am going hiking this weekend though and will be filming a new video!

I love my Hennessey hammock, but I did have it crash down on me one time fortunately I was not to high.
