How to Instant LvL your Castle Crashers Character - Cheat Engine - PC Only UPDATED

This video covers using Cheat Engine to level a Castle Crashers character that is at any level very fast.

1.Start Castle Crashers
2.Select the character you want to level
3.Hit a enemy once
4.Exit to map and start Cheat Engine
5.Select the castle crashers process in Cheat Engine
6.Input your XP amount in the value box then click first scan
7.Hit an enemy multiple times then go to map
8.Repeat step 6 but click next scan instead of new scan
9.Repeat until you only have 1-5 values on the left side
10.Double click each value
11.They will appear on the bottom and change each value to desired XP amount
12.Hit enemies to rank up - Ігри

Hey, I'm trying to level up Hatii and I get to the part where I change the two values at once, but it's not having any effect. They are the only values the scans came up with. Did something change about CC or CE that makes this impossible?
This was very helpful, I had lost my saves and am very happy to be gaining some of it back, even if I still have to recover animal orbs

when you get ahold of the exp address, set it to as far as you can and go into a level and best people up. every hit is a levelp

This still works December 2021. Keep in mind I did have to reset my character like he says at the end of the video to work and I did have to modify BOTH memory addresses at once or it messes up.
does this have a virus? the program has failed 7/7 virus scan tests.
@@F50STMusic If you get CheatEngine at the official site, no it should be fine. It just looks suspicious to the virus scanner because it modifies memory addresses directly, like a virus would.
@@F50STMusic it asks you install a mcafee when you install it, just press no thanks and I've never had any issues with cheat engine, if you use it and feel unsafe you can always uninstall it after you're done.
Are the leveling cheats permanent and stay?

So when I scan the first time, it only gives 4 entries....the next scan gives nothing. it worked before. Resinstalled the engine but no effect. What do i do wrong?
You messed up on the scan part. Might have typed a number wrong somewhere, or just somewhere on that part. Just try again, and check if you did what he did exactly right.

Try installing a new version of Cheat Engine. Furthermore, make sure your "value type" is set to 4 bytes in Cheat Engine.

i have the same steam version cc and the newest cheat engine, i do exactly what you do on the video, but after i change the value i got to a map and every time i hit something the value resets to the value it was before plus the new hits, is this still works?
It is, most likely, that you are changing the display value of the XP and not the actual value. You will just have to keep trying until Cheat Engine finds the correct address for the XP value.

Bro but the cool thing is you can set your self to max level and you do the level to get necromancer in insane mode so basically if you hit an enemy you get levels up and get back full up so you can use it as free potions

I’m not sure if you still respond to comments but every time I open the cheat engine it says: Error Runtime error (at 275:187): could not call proc.
Try to disable User Account Control (UAC) and run Cheat Engine as administrator.
It takes forever to lvl up to lvl 99 solo offline

So basically I use things like cheat engine tables to make hacking the game less tedious. Yet no matter what I do I can't check ANY BOXES. Instead it opts to slow my game down and essentially screw it over. Help me!

It won’t let me download it Because it says virus detected what do I do
Need to allow it within your antivirus program. Make sure to also deselect all of the optional bundled software while going through the install wizard. Cheat Engine will come up as a false positive on many antivirus programs due to its nature as a hex editor.

question. will this work if i am already a lvl 7 on a new character i started out with. like say i have 1400 xp and i go to hit the enemies like the tutorial tells u to, for example say im now 1450 xp, do i just enter 1450, or do i enter the difference of the two, or does this actually not work unless it's a fresh lvl 0.
Enter the new number, the 1450xp value, into cheat engine and it should work!
Hyperkeratosin yeah usually I can enter the first value but the second scan brings nothing and it always works when I start using a level 0 but anything I've already played as and is higher then that doesnt work
Just wondering, can you use this to lower your level?? I want to get my lvl 99 characters down to lvl 78
If you can manage to get the hex address that corresponds to your character level then yes; however, the only easy way I know how to do that is to search for the value as your rank increases. Since you are the max level this is no longer possible. An alternative would be to make your own cheat engine table that searches for markers that pull the values you want to change so the address is pulled automatically without you having to search for it. This is quite complicated though so I would suggest you find guides that walk you through that process.
