It always amazes me that Kate sounds just like she does on the album at every performance I've seen online or in person. She's such an underrated vocalist.
@Bobrulesthehouse C'mon bro. Lets be serious here. I love the B-52s, but I readily admit Cindy and Kate are studio singers. They need extra help to add power and volume to their voices. If you need proof, check out the live version of "Revolution Earth". Neither of them can hit the notes they need to hit. Julee, by contrast, can air it out. If you want to talk "real" singers who can get it done live, watch Sarah Maclachlan or Ingrid Michaelson. In terms of a female duo, Abba was probably best.
Wow! Two tunes on the same show? Cool. This is just as fantastic as Good Stuff. Thanks for posting this. I mean, it's perfect right down to the tambourine. I can't believe I missed this back then. I must have been too busy listening to the cassette!
Hi Kate!We are doing a huge ocean cleanup on Staten Island in your honor!I know how much you care about our enviroment! You are a wonderful servant to humanity and our Creator!
@JamiePierce I was listening, totally wondering where the hell Julee's voice was too. She made this disc what it is and was an obvious upgrade over Cindi Wilson. Her voice is ethereal and she hits the notes Kate can't and fills in the soul and depth sorely needed. To turn her off or down is BS. They obviously wanted the attention to go to Fred and Kate.
I thought this was a political song...an optimistic one that was part of the run-up to the election of Clinton. Could use a bit of that now...2018, 2020.

She quite the Consummate Professional!
Yes, yes... You're absolutely friggin right.
My favorite female vocalist (or maybe tied with Cindy).
I’m 68 and I missed them first time around.
Now I’m their biggest fan, love her voice.
It is necessary to have a Kate Pierson+Neko Case duo. The most underrated voices in American music.
No matter if they are studio singers, they are very professional on stage, never commit a mistake even when the vocal harmonies are so difficult.
Love it :-) Still going strong!
Paul Gorden was great. R.I.P.
すばらしい!エクセレント!
KATE LUCE HERMOSISIMA .
Red head is a pepper shes great as well as the band !
@ODC771 Nah its Tracy Wormworth, she is still their bass player.
What a band, three women, a gay and two more guys...
Kate is very pretty
@RavishingBeyond no one can out sing cindy and kate together!!
cindy must have been pregnant at this time love watching her
She's not on the record. On the record, it's all Kate.

Ravishing Beast that's not true. You must to watch 1979 concert.
Had so many x rated dreams about Kate.
Who reached the end with a frown?
Even in the worst times, a B-52s performance has me grinning like an idiot.
this was a good cd but not the same without cindy:(
wish they would do some new versions with cindy! the songs sound great live with cindy!

OK - I am screwed ! I though this disc was in '03 or '04 Not 1992 ! Wow - time goes by. This still sounds so brand new !!!!!

Julee Cruise reminds me of a caricature.
Alright who stole the rock lobster...
One of the 3 best US-Bands ever. Especialy live a phenomenon. Every Concert in Germany was sold out.
My favorite song from my favorite album. Looks exhausting to sing and play!!

RIP Julee Cruise, here singing next to Fred, filled in for Cindy this era,
@RavishingBeyond ......mate, your judging one performance to all of their others, i saw them live 2 years ago and they still sound fantastic
Perhaps Cindy, but Kate is not only a studio singer.
Is that Gail Ann Dorsey on bass?
that was meant for Bobrulesthehouse
Kate rules
Kate's hand in the mirror at 1:18
Kate Pierson was 90% of this band.
The other 10% was kate's dresses and hairdos
super64 bullshit!
they all write together .. they are very equal
One of their few poor CDs. Cant remember why Cindy was not with band in '92
James Ebert By far my favorite. And this song is my favorite B-52's song ever.
James Ebert cause she want to dedicate time to her family, to have kids.
