    I saw a video of Jan throwing a javelin in his 50's showing his students how to throw it properly. Man's still got it

    Your vids have gotten me excited about all sorts of Field events this upcoming track season. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty excited to see what is in store for Javelin this coming track season. One man that has shown massive improvement over these last couple of years is Johannes Vetter, who holds the second furthest throw of 97.76 meters. He would definitely be an individual to take a look at this upcoming season.

    This video might be my Favorite of everything you've ever produced!!!
    Normally I'd expect my favorite to be about Sprinting or some elite Sprinter either at the College level or Pro level.
    However, you had me in stitches with the way you Cut-off your very own commentary with Video Clips essentially proving the opposite of what you were just saying. 👍👍 Well done....
    And can you imagine breaking a record in this fashion, only to see another competitor come along and shatter it 2 days later??
    But what makes him the GOAT is this throw in a nutshell.

    And maybe the wildest thing about Zelezny, he was self-coached from the age of 14. And that for a world class javelin thrower, he was undersized.

      Wrong, he had many coaches, one of them was Jaroslav Brabec, who trained him almost whole life.

      Complete nonsense. He had a number of leading coaches, and nearly his entire family was throwers. He also competed at 6-1, 205. It's not like he was 5-9 and 170.

    Ironically, despite having multiple Olympic and World titles, Jan Zelezny never won an European title. The best he did at European Championships was winning bronze in 1994 and 2006.

      @@MichaelBrown-wo8si many tests are given before they can compete, plus they may not be caught immediately they can relook at the tests, like Maria abaumova, wasn’t caught until later in her career zelezny and aki parvanien competed in the era were steroids were caught 9/10, regardless a steroid users technique is not as good as zeleznys or parvaniens was, it can also be determined by how big they get and how fast ( muscle ) Maria abakumova went from small and skinny, to an enormously muscled girl, this happens with the guys too, it’s easily determined if zelezny or parvanien are doping ans neither are not. Now where’s your proof of them doping?

    Explain, also, that because of Z’s power, they re-regulated javelin’s center of mass essentially making throws of this distance impossible. The record should remain unbreakable due to a rules change.

      Uwe Hohn holds the "eternal world record" with a throw of 104.80 m as a new type of javelin was implemented in 1986.
