It's always driven me insane not knowing how or if the director manipulated the footage of her dancing; her movements don't seem natural. At first I wondered if they were filming it at a much slower speed so her lips matched the vocal but her movements would seem faster. Then I wondered if they somehow filmed it backwards. Now as I look at the different B-rolls, I've noticed a lot of it may actually just be her with no manipulation. Would anyone have any insight to this?

When I first saw this video when it premiered in 1998, I felt like there wasn't enough Madonna in it. I was entranced with her look, and I felt like the footage without her took too much of the video. I'm an artist, myself, and I get why the other footage is in there, as I see the patterns of motion, but I had hoped at least this being the "official video" perhaps there will be alternate versions where it's more of her, or just her, like for the remixes. I am wondering of you considered uploading each version of her dancing. It will be so satisfying to watch.

Dan mate, one of my wishlist Madonna video transformation is to have a colored version of the Cherish video. We all know Herb Ritts directed it and no longer with us but after seeing her Rolling Stones photos on the magazine, I've always thought how stunning it would be to see that. If there's anyone who can make magic ✨ like this it's you🤗
Thanks mate, but I'm afraid I know nothing on how to colorize black and white footage. I've seen A.I. tools doing this and I wasn't convinced by the results... I find it passable with photos, but always strangely inadequate with video footage... In any case I wouldn't know where to start, and CHERISH or JUSTIFY MY LOVE are gorgeous videos as they are. If only they were given proper HD or 4K releases....
