Well it had some gold in it 👍That was OK . it's hard to say what that Hardrock under the microscope is , but there probably is gold there among other stuff . Hi Big Kev, just got home and watched. I am so glad you got something out of the " Frog spoof creek" materials, sorry buddy no gems in that creek , just gold, ironstone, quartz and occasionally you get Mercury as well just to spice it up 😂. The crush was interesting 🤔, I have tested it before, but I only have a dolly pot. So it is hard to get to powder. Looks like very fine gold to me, mix it up and give it a smelt, never know you might end up with a very small bead of AU 😢. The matrix , I have found after a few cooks does pop if you do coat it with a clear 2 pack epoxy. It does give it the wet look and brings out the colour beautifully. I have tried to polish but it is so porous and soft itears the stone and just doesn't work. I have tried. The only stuff I polish is the crystal or seam Opal. I am so glad you got some colour buddy.
