Recorded straight from game with Audacity on ASUS Xonar DGX sound card using WinUAE to emulate Amiga Paula OCS (MOS8364, 4 channels 8-bit PCM chip) sound.

Exactly same story here. Christmas evening, little me unboxing presents by the tree, one of the boxes was Amiga 500. Plugged it to tv in my room, sound line hooked to 100 watts Sony audio system with BIG speakers. Game which was included was Lotus 2, so I launched it and for the first time heard this mega epic intro on those BIG 100W speakers. Basses was over the roof, house almost collapsed. And you are 100% right with "memorable moment" - never ever in my life was I so happy.
I remember recording the music onto tape and playing it in my dad’s Ford Escort XR3i and asking him to drive fast!!
I remember the XR3 models and XR2's, they were the days. Always wanted a Cosworth.

Little know fact here, at 14 seconds listen very carefully as there is a subliminal message. A voice sample that says 'you will not copy this game'.
Wow it's so faint I can't even hear what he is saying.
I would put that only if the system finds a pirated copy but not on the originl game
I imagine if it is a pirated game the sample becomes more hearable

Those who have not had an Amiga can not imagine what this music gives from the machine itself, because I can listen to it in 2021 on a high-tech PC, it is as if I was listening in black and white. The sound power of these machines was terrible. When you think that opposite they were playing Nintendo and Sega 8-bit Master System, then Megadrive and 16-bit SNES, imagine the tech divide.

Ten utwór cały czas puszczaliśmy w bloku przez wzmacniacz. Ach te basowe dźwięki. Czasy Atari XL/XE/ST oraz Commodore C-64 i Amiga 500/600/1200/CDTV. Było fajnie.

This music was used in a TV News intro in Argentina. I remember when I wanted to buy my first Amiga the seller showed me this intro and I said: "Oh, it is like the music in the News!" 😮

Sam opis filmiku jest bez sensu, bo nie ma znaczenia czy użyjesz SoundBlastera czy czegokolwiek innego. Ba nawet nie musi być jakiejkolwiek karty dźwiękowej. Za przetworzenie dźwięku odpowiada procesor (CPU) i to on pcha strumień danych (PCM) do kodeka który przepuszcza to przez DAC i potem przez wzmacniacze do wyjścia audio. Ten strumień można przecież również zapisać bezpośrednio do pliku lub przez enkoder (np. MP3 lub AAC) do innego strumienia (a potem też np. do pliku).
Jak widać jeżeli zapisujemy do pliku nie ma ŻADNEGO udziału karty dźwiękowej (SoundBlaster Audigy w tym przypadku). Użycie karty dźwiękowej ma sens kiedy puszczamy to do wyjścia analogowego.
I discover that game by playing with a friend on his Atari 520ST... then i got the game for my Amiga 500+... i never touch the Atari version again, at a basic sound quality level the Atari sound like shit!
