@@joshtriedcoding hey, brother can you create a video about how we can build our career in web development like you, should we publish videos on UA-cam, if yes then can we do that without spending more money? Can we create a UA-cam channel with minimal setup like a phone, and a laptop
I really like the way you teach to type the data correctly and see how you're thinking and advancing each case, grateful for these 12-hour projects that you explain step by step, since they take a lot of your time, but I really appreciate it and thank you.
My Nextjs is really good now, thanks to you, Josh. I am grateful for the content you share and for taking the time to explain concepts, architecture design decisions, etc. The community keeps getting better with you around. Josh, just a quick note (11:16) , I think you should check if the user is on a FREE plan before creating the Stripe Session if he tries to login from the pricing page else it will be tantamount to double charging the user who is already on the PRO plan. Cheers to you big time for the incredible work!!!!!!
You are the reason why i love js so much. Your videos have helped me so much and I have always recommend someone who wants to build and learn to watch your videos
You have done what only few people would do. This video received even less views and comments than normal length videos but you didnt care about all this and still dropped this banger of a tutorial! Much love from Pakistan♥
Amazing video once again man! I love your passion and the way you trying to teach us. Another mind-blowing video. Keep up the hard work dude. You're doing an amazing job already. Sound a bit like you but you get my point. 🔥🥳
Hey Josh, the trick to upload videos to YT longer then 12hrs is the following: Upload the video from a pc or Mac. Once it gets to 50% refresh the page. It will then prompt to resume. DON'T wait 24hrs then resume. This works because YT limit is 12hrs or 256GB which ever comes first. What they don't mention is that is per 24hrs. So by pausing it and waiting 24hrs you can then upload up to 24hr video or more depending how many days your willing to take to upload it. It will just take you a couple days to do so. But pls if you ever make a video 24hrs break it in 2 parts. I see many FS NextJs videos around the 15hr or 16hr mark.
Josh really thanks you for this great banger. already around the 5th hour and it's really interesting. In the video you need mention Cloudflare a lot. Idk if you can create a separate video on how to deploy the jstack on cloudflare as an alternative to vercel.
I really enjoyed the video but I have 1 suggestion, next time if you are going to do something like that in the future , just save on every step so we could see the result when it comes to UI , and FYI , windows has built-in emoji with Windows Key + . there is no need for extension 😜
Hey Joshtriedcoding, I was wondering how the back-end server was implemented in this project. U didn't really go over it in the intro. Do u have a non next.js server running behind it that would work on for example a linux machine? Cause I noticed from a lot of video's that they don't recommend using next.js as the back end.
Great demo. Hi Josh, it would be really helpful if you could explain the pricing part also. I know for first few users it will be of no charge, but I really wanted to know how you decide the stack including all the platforms based on the pricing if site get the ample amount of traffic. I hope you got me.
This app would be spectacular if you added an extra “appendix” video to fur the polish it, add error handling in the client, preventing free plans from exceeding the quota, etc
😥😥 I followed along, but it won't deploy, I'm getting this error: `Error: The Edge Function "api/[[...route]]" size is 1.06 MB and your plan size limit is 1 MB. `
Hey, great course! I hope this question finds you :) I see you're getting the currentUser on every page, and redirecting if not authenticated. Isn't ClerkMiddleware perfect for this? export default clerkMiddleware(async (auth, req) => { if (isProtectedRoute(req)) await auth.protect() }) also, aren't server actions a perfect use-case for returning the user on every page.tsx? (currently using this tutorial for my own implementation of a SaaS!)
appreciate your support so much
Which video editor app do you use brother?
Nice bro we want more content like that
Josh a lot of love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

And may be without installing video editing tools on system. 😅
Seriously, you have improved the way you teach; now you are explaining every single detail. Thank you very much!

Big shoutout to clerk for giving Josh the money, so that he can do what he's doing best: Trying to code and let us be a part of it! THANX!!! 🤩

This is exactly what I wanted to exist on UA-cam!
Josh you did it first it seems :3

Your work is awesome,
U N B E L I E V A B L E 🤯😱
LOVE YOU, JOSH!!!
any plans to create a video like this but using next-forge that you reviewed a few days ago ?
Great Intro. I see you also watch Web Prodigies 💯
appreciate this so much.
La Cucaracha.......la cucaracha.... Thanks Josh!
Yo josh, i love you! (I'm straight, i promise.)
Lets go mate 🔥🔥
this is with next 15 ? awesome content !
Awesome! 🤩
Hey josh! It's a good project dude. Loved it.
BTW when will the docs for the jstack be available?
Edit: Fix some typos 😅😅
Damn 12hours you are crazy man
idea for next project : visual board maker ? Something like Miro ?
Love ya 😊❤
Actually neon expanded their free tier to have 10 dbs which is great for multiple side projects if you don't want to mess with table prefixes
This app would be spectacular if you added an extra “appendix” video to fur the polish it, add error handling in the client, preventing free plans from exceeding the quota, etc
3:46:10 kevin powell reference😉
hey ever thought of using neovim?
feedback: i'm in the demo currently, would be nice if you showed the url as you're interacting with the app so we can see how the state changes
😥😥 I followed along, but it won't deploy, I'm getting this error:
`Error: The Edge Function "api/[[...route]]" size is 1.06 MB and your plan size limit is 1 MB. `
This is my next day 😄
Many many thanks
18:31 why the home function is async , isn't it's not create any impact here
