D2R PvP - Hybrid Walkzon vs Shield Barb Punch - Coooley's DFC

Won 4-3.
Most barbs are pretty easy matchup for Zons especially BvC but BvA (Shield barb) is very tough.
They have huge life and max block and WW still hits pretty hard.
Punch is very creative always and he brought some sort of high fcr/high open wound set up for this. Seems like his plan was to quick in and out with ww clip for open wound to cut me open. WW is melee so WW OW is very strong. It's like 800 dmg over 8 seconds. He basically clip me and disappeared for about 7-8 seconds.
I knew he would bring something like this to the table, so I prepped to have very high defense. I had around 11k defense after chilling armor proc from Fortitude. Think that helped a ton in this matchup.
Using erep 2Passive 20IAS 200ED glove and Giant skull for 2 x 15ias 38ed in it for Knockback. And sprinkled in some 30defense 20life small charms to boost the defense.
And added 1 Passive lifer grand charm to get to the next level for Critical Strike and Dodge. And then opted to go with Natures Peace Oak for high life boost. The most important reason was for this was to annoy barb with casting oak far away from me. Tested this with barb buddies for awhile and it seemed like it was working well. Basically giving barb another thing to hit when he stomps. If barb goes in for oak, you create another opening. He goes away for reset, just cast another away from you.
My plan was to throw both Fury and Bolt mixed in to knockback and try to proc open wound from Gore riders so at least he gets drained while away too. Ranged ow is only like 250 over 8 seconds but still it adds up. And try to get a few GA hit after he finish stomp but it was tough.
He's so good at stomp so was being so careful with taking out the bow for guided. Got hit on bow side a few times in the first few rounds.
Had to sneak in GA from fury to GA lock transition in the mix. And get back to java side almost immediately since he's obviously baiting me to go bowside.
It was really close one and could have gone either way at the end.
