Their Leaders (they have 2 ) Choi Hyunsuk dreamed to debut in YG after watching Bigbang and become interested in rap and Park Jihoon dreamed to debut in YG as well after watching WIN (Who Is Next) survival show where WINNER was chosen to debut. These 2 leaders aimed to debut YG and only YG (in their YG Treasure Box survival show they are very vocal about it) Of the Japanese members, Mashiho is a big fan of Seven and he said he saw YG artists always on TV and he thinks their music fits his style and that they are very cool and thats why he auditioned in YG Japan as trainee. Same with Yoshinori, his older sister is a big fan of BigBang and she took him to one their concert and that where he dreamed to be like them and perform in such an amazing stage. Asahi also attended one of iKON's concert and he is in the frontrow and Bobby waved to him and thinks he is so cool and he liked their music a lot and wanted to be like them. Haruto (the youngest of the 4 Japanese members) is a son of an OG VIP. His mother took him to BigBang concert at his young age together with his Father and younger sister. His mother even styled his hair like Bigbang. And Haruto loved YG since he was a kid and also trained at a young age. Bang Yedam was discovered by YHS from Kpop Star, and been the longest trainee. Others are fan of Blackpink like Junghwan,. So literally almost all of them have that YG blood in them.
They are a very young group (ages 15-21) but full of potential. Very talented and charismatic. Their vocal line is insane for a rookie group. They have a strong rap line and they can dance so yes please check out their dance practice video. Another video cover you might want to check is Wild For The Night! Their debut album is just the first step, 1 out of 3 albums coming out this year. It has 2 songs, Boy and Come to me - please check that out as they released a selfie version M/V. Chapter 2 album is coming out this September too. They have lots of content in their channel. You can check out their Going Crazy Performance video, pre debut song. Treasure was inspired to be a singer because of YG artists especially their Japanese line - Mashiho was a fan of Se7en, Haruto's mom is a JVIP with an enviable BB merch collection, Yoshi's first concert was BigBang's - his sister brought him to the concert, and Asahi - Bobby of IKON waved at him at a concert. The leaders Hyunsuk and Jihoon also has BigBang's as their first concert. I'm glad you liked this song since there had been some debates about this song not sounding YG so I'm curious as to how OG YG fans will view this.
