I've been testing king for about a week now andy list was very close to this one until I scrapped it for a full ramp build that focuses on dropping 10 drop Luffy then chain dropping linlin afterwards or a second Luffy for game
I think your only losing matchup might be Reiju or even P. Luffy when it gets its upgrade with the new structure deck stuff. Both decks can put out a 7c body faster than you can which makes it hard to deal with. For P. Luffy the new Luffytaro plays a 7c and a 5c and with its leader ability with natural ramp it can get there going first (provided they see a Bon Clay) or second. For Reiju turn 2 Ichicji is just the worst thing you can see.
It's hard to make a tier list atm since we have not tested the meta yet. There are some leaders that are buffed like Bonney and Reiju. Buffed in terms of their hard counters are already gone.
After a couple of days of testing, I can say it loses super hard to aggresive decks and the matches you win against slower decks are nail biters. The deck is pretty inconsistent even when you draw onigashima, due to its inability to find Kuzan and Sabo 8. I would love for this leader to be viable, but right now it feels like a long stretch still. Luckily I still have Lucci with consistent removal at all stages of the game.
I agree with inconsistent but i disagree with the aggressive decks. I play tested with a doffy recently and won 3-1. I also won against Sanji 4-0. The deck I lost a lot is Reiju and RP Law 0-6
@@rjjacintophSanji games were definetly closer, but doffy ones felt like a wash, by the time I could star popping their stuff he already had a full board. This means it has to be the player then :D, anyway I had a lot of fun playing this deck, thanks for sharing, I've been looking for a viable king list for the longest time, and this one is great.
Black Maria is counter productive with the goal of the deck of ramping as it only equals your don. Gecko isnt good here because what we want are big characters. We dont have any good characters to resurrect.
@@AperfectKING1 Don't get your hopes up. King has a lot of flaws. It foils to Reiju and BY Luffy, 2 of what I think top decks post-ban, so it'll be hard for him.

this looks fun! is king viable in 08 with the bans for the west you think?
It can win games here and there but it's not as consistent as the other decks due to it being so island dependent.
It feels weird not playing moria in a black deck😅

3rd turn jack is crazyyy
The first 3 turns of the deck go like this:
Turn 1: searchers
Turn 2: stage ➡️ ramp
Turn 3: Jack
That's the ideal start anyway.
Why no Black Maria or Gecko?
