- Battlebit Remastered is a tricky game to play at the moment but boy is it worth it. Battlefield feels like a relic in comparison with the QoL improvements and destructible environments.

I managed to get into a few playtests, and man, it's like the Bad Company days just chaos, destruction and fun times.
There are a couple more this week starting tomorrow, it seems like they are getting way more frequent.

Great to hear, BC2 was my favorite BF game.
I love when enemy calls me Portable Bluetooth Speaker and drag my lifeless body around the battlefield while i play 80's music
the community mix of mil-simmers, in between-battlefielders and cod-csgo-overwatch-twitch-shooters in general makes for an enjoyable community that allows sweaty tryharding or casual sniping and even role-playing, trolling without anyone missing out on the fun it seems. great stuff.
One time I was playing as a Russian and the enemy flanked my group of 3 and downed me, then called me a filthy commie and I was just dying xD
It's a wonderful time when the community is having as much fun in the vc than as in the game. Whether its when the match starts and everyone is excited or being under heavy fire and everyone is panicking.

Its just so good already. Needs a couple balance tweaks but that's what all the playtests are for. My favorite moment in any shooter ever came from the last playtest. I got sniped while setting a landmine, then the enemy rushed in, blasted all my team and took cover. I made cat noises while bleeding out and when they came over to mess with my body, BOOM! Post mortem quad kill.
Stalltt was finally gonna get genuine unironic praise from a fan and immediately committed suicide. A true Fedora Tipping, Woman Respecting, Sigma Male, Neglected Child GIGACHAD. My hero!
Good to see indie games keeping the game industry alive, when the execs of AAA studios just want to focus on profits.

What these over payed managers don’t get is that passion for gaming and modding is what the golden age of gaming was all about. The most passionate and daring devs came out on top. Now it’s come around full circle and the Indy scene is keeping the passion alive.

Honestly my dream with this game is that it does really well, and then the assets get a major overhaul (nothing crazy, just nicer models). The Gameplay is already sooo good.
apparently the game was inspired by the inability to play squad on a bad pc so they may stick to low poly purely for performance

Makes team based shooters just so much more fun, also you can get immediate information and callouts about the situaiton.

I played a ridiculous amount of Bad Company 2 multiplayer and I've been waiting for a game that captures that feeling. This looks like it, I'll have to get on during a play test.

Battlebit is the perfect mix between bf and squad
Being able to just build sandbags and shit as a engineer is fun. This game has so much attention to detail. Like when you are prone and reload and start crawling your character will stop the reload and crawl, mag in hand and then put it in once you stop moving. I cant wait for this game to come out I'd pay money for it.
Indie devs are just break dancing on AAA companies at this point

Meanwhile I'm still in tears that nobody plays Intruder anymore. Both of these games are up the same alley. In terms of deconstructing an already established franchise & making it simultaneously better & goofier.

Had my first game today has so much fun man, as someone who played squad, all battlefield, cod, insurgency and much more this game still warms up my heart with the amount of detail they put in there and how smooth it runs
I actually thought it was something like ace of spades at first, making trenches or shortcuts or bases in huge open maps actually feels amazing

@@chunkblaster You can still play it, thpugh there are about 10-40 players average globally, sometimes a hundred but that's very rare.
It's called build and shoot and its the original game just hosted on a site with a different name for legal reasons.
There is also an alternative client called betterspades that I highly recommend that is just the original but the render is made properly, so it doesn't lag on older PCs. And openspades if you want graphics but I heard there are some things changed so it's slightly unfair against classic clients.
Both clients have a server browser built in like in other games and you play on the same servers with everyone else.
Though the most active servers are almost always hallway and tower of babel the community is awesome and it's nice to hop on a half empty server or even one with 3 players and chat while you're shooting each other. It's a shame that there are only a few good maps and you can't wander around a dense forest on a beautiful map full of players and structures like in 2015. I missed the fun because I was too dumb to comprehend the concept of having a server list in a browser as a child and couldn't play, but I watched the crap out of it on UA-cam.

I did good on my exams except for chemistry but the game is the most fun FPS I have played in a long time.

Proximity chat is easily one of the biggest dealbreakers for me nowadays in any multiplayer shooter.
Not being able to talk to teammates you're standing right next to is the dumbest mechanic in the world and AAA devs need to stop it

The excuse is that they dont want peopple "trolling" or swearing, which is such a dumb excuse in my opinion
@@Komyets It's only going to get worse in the AAA sphere with "live services" and trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator (read: 12 year olds with mom's credit card) who don't want to (or aren't allowed to) hear mean words. China is also a huge influence on this sort of thing, with more and more games deliberately changing the game internationally to appease Chinese censors. Lots of money there, but without fail it will ALWAYS hurt the quality of the end product.
Indie games will probably follow suit EVENTUALLY, once Steam is inevitable taken over by the usual suspects that have ruined nearly everything else and their censorship policies go into overdrive. For now though, they're sort of the last bastion for, well, fun.

now this is a video game. hard to try and catch the times its up but its very fun for the few hours i played it
also protip; the F button by default is drag body, you will want to do this to teammates you intend to revive, as they have died in very inopportune spaces. be careful!

Battlebit is so much fun it's crazy. The destruction, the weapon mods, the classes....the Voip is the cherry on the cake.

I really liked the destruction system. Like you could take a sledgehammer, make 2 tiny holes inside the building and snipe thought those like you would do irl
In my opinion, the Battlefield series peaked at 2. Made by the developers of the desert combat mod for 1942, who were promptly fired after finishing the game, that was also around the time I realized how scummy EA was, and they've only gotten worse. BC2 was a great entry don't me wrong, but there's more nostalgia for me in the desert combat mod and 2. I have yet to see another game (mod in this case) allow you to fire a remote-controlled SCUD missile directly into an apache flying over an outpost.

d00d... this game really early on was even better... its geared towards casual like Battlefield where it used to be aiming to be a proper milsim... and it was sick! hopefully they make a realism/hardcore/milsim mode or something in the future!
They've said that is definitely planned in the early access at some point, they haven't scrapped the concept

for a while now, no game has made being a medic fun.
hell let loose had the voip but no drag.
battlefield ruined it with specialists, and never really improved upon the feature, its been stale since forever.
and squad is a fun game.
but its one of those games where, unless you want to fully dive deep into a ocean instead of play in the puddles.
prep for a little bit of a learning curve.

battlebit has been so damn fun to play as a medic im addicted, god i hope they get constant servers soon or allow people to host or something.
it's a lot less serious than squad as well. The tryhards in that game really suck the fun out

I find it weird that not more Battlefield clones exist. Why haven’t another big budget AAA company tried to make their own Battlefield yet? What I mean is a high player conquest game with vehicles, classes and destruction and casual gameplay. I feel like it could have sold really well especially since people have not been happy with Battlefield for so many years now.
Most games that are similar to Battlefield are hardcore mil-sims that doesn’t appeal to casual gamers and most of them are PC exclusive too.
Have a look at *Star Citizen* instead.
The FPS gameplay is more like Tarkov, although even more clunky and laggy half the time, but if you enjoy depth you can test it for free during a Free Fly Event or just buy the game for like $45 and refund within 30 days if you don't like it.
Like there is that current FPS event where a remote part of a city is getting invaded by an enemy faction, including ships, and you go on a PROPER PVE mission.
My first run was awesome, my most recent run last night was so buggy and laggy that I got sick of it. 12 hours later and I want back in... 😅
u should get a drone place it down and throw a bunch of antipersonnel mines on it and fly it into groups of enemies its so funny

The play test window being 3 hours in the middle of a week day consistently is fairly annoying. I hope alpha release is soon with 24 hour servers.

BFV was my favorite battlefield of all time besides BF4 but there's so many hackers now it's unplayable
I can say with confidence that I enjoyed 5 more than the newest one, that's for sure. I really liked the building and cover system in 5. Felt more like there was a front line.
