What I find appalling is that the numbers are so high, forming a majority in red states and almost 50% in some blue states. I blame a lot of it on Fox.
Rabid Reilly, that's a topic worthy of debate. What's more worrying is these people vote. I've encountered some really stupid individuals during my seventy plus years on this planet, but some of these characters are basically thick and they display their inability & reluctance to process information like a badge of honour. The question is, has society abandoned them or vice versa ?

I think education is the key to success.
There's a lot of degreed people who are closed minded, prejudice on false assumptions....sadly.
I was left to die when I crawled, literally, into an ER dying. I'd been rear-ended so hard my teeth slammed together & shattered.
I'd sustained brain & spinal damages, was paraplegic 5Xs, etc.., & I did have insurance.
If a neighbor hadn't come to check on me I'd be dead.
The bill they sent me was lies, I had 70/40 BP, 93 temp, yada, yet the bill said I was just fine, normal stats.
Nurses have degrees.
Drs can just sign death certificates & who'll know the difference, eh?.
A neighbor died because Drs didn't check a leak in her bowels, she was obese & they didn't wanna bother. She died septic, in her early 40s, & autopsy proved it.
I know of many other cases.
My last Dr, after an Ohio (I was out of state) ER saved my life as my stomach & colon burst apart (only 2nd person science knew of to survive @ the time, May '05), but my home town Dr never read the report after 15 yrs, nor would he give me prescription the Ohio ER Dr gave me. I've also had Barrett's Syndrome, (I have CPTSD, my father was an abusive pedophile, plus other relatives).
Too many just don't care about others.....X#45 brought it too the surface & made hate o. k..
I'm glad I'm old & not long for this planet.....but, I feel so very sad for my grandkids, & others I'll leave behind.
(& that guy with the kitty litter in schools....bet the kids who told him that is likely still laughing he believed the bull...& he has no clue 😳).

It's their culture of hatred and fear of the "others" that has infected their outlooks on life with an apocalyptic mindset that isn't taught in the public school system. It's taught at home and in their noninclusive faith settings. Deriding our fine public education will not help anyone. Don't fear that which you are ignorant of. Strive to gain understanding and work to improve what you see to be deficient.

@@susanbengston3208 no, they found a school system in Colorado (the same one Columbine High School and the 1999 mass shooting is in) that has kitty litter as part of their emergency kits for school lockdowns. Human have to eventually pee in a bucket filled with kitty litter to be sanitary and prevent the smell from annoying students and teachers that are locked down for who knows how many hours.
I wouldn't be shocked if other school systems have kitty litter as part of an emergency kit as well as it makes logical sense. So somebody somewhere took one grain of truth, but perverted the truth into the worst way possible.
It’s not in washrooms for general use by furry kids. It’s an emergency latrine bucket in some school districts’ classrooms in case of lockdown.
