For example most japanese prefer to listen to them then yell and go crazy. Nothing wrong with that obviously but that is a cultural difference overall. Korean crowds mostly shout fanchants mainly. So yeah I hope more ppl would understand that.

Thanks for the reaction. Just wanted to say that on the live performance (their last concert) which was in Korea (the stage shown), the reason why the crowd was in their seats and not cheering, was because of the Covid Rules at the time. Usually, they would be singing and screaming but the rules didn't allow it (only clapping). However, when they went to the USA, it was an all-out party since they could cheer and all.
One info about the crowd: the concert was held december 2021 in korea where there still were strict corona rules in place. Only fewer people than normal were allowed and also no cheering.

Jihyo is known for her amazing vocals AND STAGE PRESENCE trust me she's a main dancer potential. Not to mention her heavenly visuals. This show was in Korea, and because of Covid rules the audience couldn't do anything except clap. This same tour they went to US and it was LIT. In Atlanta, the barking was nonstop. When they come back this year, we are going to take the roof off.

The live concert performance you're watching is with covid restrictions in korea so audiences aren't allowed to scream or vibing too crazy, else they'll get kicked out yep sucks but it is what it is. Jeongyeon also wasn't able to participate bcs of health issues if you didn't notice. But it's 1 that were aired live so many people are watching it atleast it have some decent camera screening & clear audios rather than fancams. But if you watch their concert performance in the US as example, the rules aren't so strict so audiences are enjoying it more freely plus Jeongyeon also was finally able to join the group. Too bad there's no live broadcast for it but you can find one with decent clean fancam & audio somewhere out there lol.
As for the backing vocals. In the 2nd chorus, the one who's belting that "red line" part is Nayeon. & seconds after, the 3 ascending "hoo's" are by Jihyo. In the last chorus, the first part adlibs are done by nayeon until the first "I can't stop me", meanwhile the 2nd part is by Jihyo.
Anyway you're getting there, a few cm deeper into the rabbit hole I'm sure you'll be able to recognize their voices & faces easily haha.

the reason why the audience isn't going nuts is that they were the first show they had for the tour and covid was pretty much still a big thing so the asian countries had a no-shouting/clap-only rule. it was only disregarded when they moved on to the american leg. the girls said it felt weird performing like that because the responses are what reassures you that you're doing a good job entertaining them.

for concerts, you have to check concerts in the US. the 4th Twice Tour took place during the pandemic. Japanese and Korean audiences follow the rule of not shouting. but audience in US concert sure won't oblige. check concerts in LA especially at the Banc of California stadium. You'll see a tremendous scream from the audience and sing along. there are many high quality fancams of their concert there

hello 🇻🇪🇪🇦 greetings, that concert was in korea and there due to covid reasons because they couldn't get up just to clap but believe me there were comments from the koreans and they said they wanted to clap and shout until they danced, look for videos of the concerts in the US and you'll see the difference because there they did scream and more, I think it's something from Asia because on the tour in Japan it was like in Korea even if the screams were heard
